Handmade greeting cards don’t have to be complicated to be beautiful. Sometimes clean and simple can make the biggest impact.
After hours of assembling convention swaps in Gumball Green and Basic Black, you’d think I would have to take some time away from this color combination. Not the case! Papillon Potpourri makes for a very clean and simple project, and these colors compliment each other perfectly.
A quick tip: I know I am not the first to figure this out, so this tip only serves as a reminder. A piece of 8-1/2″ x 11″ card stock can be folded and scored two ways to create two 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ cards. Play around with the options. Stand a card on its end or open it lengthwise on its side. Here’s an “aerial” peek at this card:
Stamp sets: Papillon Potpourri, From the Heart Paper: Basic Black, Gumball Green, Whisper White Ink: Basic Black, Gumball Green Accessories: Elegant Butterfly punch, Gumball Green 3/8″ Stitched Satin Ribbon, Glue Dots
