Today’s card is a quick and simple card with two stamp sets I borrowed from Katy McGloin. I am watching over some of her stamp sets while she’s away at Convention this week (I give and I give…)
A couple of stamps, a couple of snips, and we’re done. Here’s the card I made:

Quick tip: There’s balance in threes.
In comedy, a punchline is funny. A callback to that punchline is funnier. A second callback (the third reference to the item) is the funniest. There’s balance in threes. Likewise, a collection of three images is almost always appealing and calming.
Stamp sets: Raining Flowers, Word Play Papers: Perfect Plum, Regal Rose, Whisper White Inks: Perfect Plum, Regal Rose, Wild Wasabi Accessories: Stampin’ Dimensionals

Love the threes! The pop in the middle is a great touch for dimension and variety within the three.
Thanks, Suzanne! I played with that dimension in and out. Decided to leave it in. :). Appreciate your comment!
Brian, as usual, a beautiful card, very clean and well balanced! I LOVE it!
Thanks, Katy! I have a great group of folks around me, and I learn from watching then, trying to soak it all in.
The color combination on this card is perfect for its style and simplicity. As I have been visiting your blog and viewing your creations my wish list is growing faster than Pinocchio’s nose!
Thanks, Samantha! I love that I can inspire – that’s what it’s all about, right?
Beautiful job on your card, Brian! I also heard there’s balance in odd numbers, as long as they’re no more than 5; however, I like either one {for CAS} or three, just as you have done! Kudos, to you, brother!
Beautiful card…love the colors and simplicity! Thanks for the other info….
This card is truly beautiful! Love it!
Thanks, Kat! I always appreciate your kind words.
Thanks for the lovely card & the explanation of using the balance of threes. I just gave a class in which a participant questioned using threes & I wish I could have explained as well as you did. Anyhoo, I’m forwarding this post to her–& thanks again. I am new to your blog Brian, & enjoying it very much!
Thanks, Donna! I know comedy, and I know cards. Not 100% sure they are governed by the same rules, but both definitely work well with threes. One can be so lonely. Two can be balanced. Three is perfectly offset. Anything more than five can be cluttered. That’s just my take on it. 🙂
