Sale-a-Brate Good Times!

On the one hand, I can’t belive another Sale-a-Bration is here already. On the other hand, it felt like it would never get here. That’s right! Today is the first day of Stampin’ Up!’s totally insane sales event where we get to earn all sorts of great products just for buying the stuff we need.  That’s right!  We need this stuff.

Today, I’m going to explain the amazing benefits of Sale-a-Bration and share a list of my favorite items in the Sale-a-Bration catalog, so don’t skip a thing.

Here’s a quick breakdown of how you can earn great products during Sale-a-Bration:

  • Earn free Sale-a-Bration products.  For every $50 you spend from either the 2012-2013 Stampin’ Up! Catalog or from the 2013 Spring Catalog, you get to select one item from the Sale-a-Bration brochure FOR FREE.  (There’s plenty to choose from, and I’ll share my Sale-a-Bration favorites with you later in this post.)  If you would like some inspiration, check out my Favorite Things from the Spring Catalog hereIf you spend $100, you can add two Sale-a-Bration items to your order.  If you order $250, you add five.
  • Earn a pack of Silver Glimmer Paper.  To celebrate Stampin’ Up!’s 25th Anniversary, they are adding a pack of Slver Glimmer Paper to each order over $150.  At that point, you are earning standard hostess rewards PLUS Silver Glimmer Paper.  Woo hoo!
  • Earn a free bundle.  For a $400 order, you earn a FREE HOSTESS BUNDLE (Madison Avenue stamp set, Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper and Sycamore Street Ribbon & Button Pack) PLUS you get a pack of Silver Glimmer Paper AND the standard hostess rewards ($65 hostess dollars and one item at 50% off).
  • Join the club!  During Sale-a-Bration and to celebrate Stampin’ Up!’s 25th Anniversary, you can get 25% more product of your choice when you purchase Stampin’ Up!’s Starter Kit for $99.  That’s $156.50 of product!  You can build a business or just select it as a no-risk, no pressure way to take advantage of the demonstrator discount.  AND shipping is free!  You don’t earn Sale-a-Bration items with the starter kit, but there’s plenty of time to earn those.  🙂  Contact me if you are interested in joining my team ([email protected]).

Because I’m a nerdy accountant, I decided to take all those words and put them into a chart.  I hope this helps to sort out all the benefits you can earn during Sale-a-Bration:www.stampwithbrian.com - SAB chart

So, what are my favorite items in the Sale-a-Bration brochure?  Well, I’m going tell you!  And, I’m going to count down from my #3 favorite item to my #1 favorite item:

#3  FEELING SENTIMENTAL (#129627 wood mount or #129630 clear mount).  This stamp set is perfect for the vintage stamper, but I see “clean and simple” all over it.  I have shared several projects (see them here and here) I’ve made with this set, and I’ve got more to come.

#2  PETITE CURLY LABEL PUNCH (#129405) and PRETTY PETITES (#129639 wood mount or #129642 clear mount).  I put these as one item because they are a definite MUST!  I’m sorry, but you will have to spend at least $100 during Sale-a-Bration to get these two.  The punch also coordinates perfectly with Ciao, Baby! (in the Spring Catalog). To see projects I’ve made with these, click here and here.

…and now (drumroll, please) my favorite item in the Sale-a-Bration brochure…

#1  SYCAMORE STREET DESIGNER SERIES PAPER (#127540).  Without a doubt, this is my favorite item in the SAB brochure.  Filled with both bold & shocking patterns and soft & subtle colors, this DSP has it all!  I love everything about it and am finding more and more ways to use it – I have a great project for you on Saturday that features this paper.  To see another project I’ve made with this paper, click here.  If that doesn’t convince you to get it, then I don’t know what will.  🙂

 Thanks for stopping by today.

  1. I like that Curly Label Punch too, Brian but I think I will get the Sycamore Street ribbon and button pack. The colors are lovely and you get 3 spools of ribbon, with 5 yds. or each color plus 36 buttons!! That’s a deal I can’t ignore.

  2. Free stamps and supplies! Woot! Thanks for that nerdy chart, it is pretty cool to look at all the benefits of Sale-A-Bration!

  3. I love the chart Brian, it makes everything that sounds complicated in words simple to understand. I too am a chart freak, I even keep a chart of housekeeping chores so that I can tell when I’m getting lazy like …..”Oops, it’s been 2 months since In dusted the bedroom” – better jump on that chore. LOL

  4. I think you have mastered the give all of the details in simplest terms. I don`t know why SU has to sell everything but the kitchen sink at this particular time but I will say it gives us a world of things to choose from in order to get a freebie or two . Therefore, I am taking my time to choose “DO I want this or do I want that ?” I think you did a great job on your descriptions ….if I didn`t have you as my demo already I would choose you for obvious reasons…one is who could top that giggle on the blooper video?????

  5. Omg, I saw this in my email “Sale-A-Brate Good Times” and started singing the song by Kool & The Gang! You have just made my day! I love the Sale-A-Bration deals this year, and I really wanting the Petite Curly Label punch… BAD.

  6. You did a great job ‘splaining about SAB! And I agree about your favorite choices, i got these and more…my poor credit card is screaming at me to please stop for awhile…lol!

  7. Love the nerdy chart…no really it is helpful! Love the way you describe the sycamore street DSP. I am about to design a card using it. But I can’t wait to get Feeling Sentimental in my hands!
