Blog Candy Winner

Earlier this week I offered blog candy to honor Justin’s birthday – we all need to make birthday projects, so I offered three items to one lucky person who shared his or her most exciting birthday gift (given or received).  I also asked you to click over to Justin’s blog to wish him a happy birthday.  Thanks to everyone who did – you’re the best!

The winner of this blog candy will receive the following three items if she emails me at [email protected] within the next 48 hours.  How easy is that?  Here’s what she won (big clue – it’s a SHE):

  • Birthday Calendar (retired).  Brand new and ready to be stamped.
  • Birthday Cake Stamp (wood/current).  Brand new & ready to be inked.
  • Assortment of Brights Buttons (retired).  Perfect for any birthday celebration.

Before I announce the winner, I have to commend you all for such beautiful sentiments and birthday stories.  I appreciate you all sharing so much with me and the others here.  What a beautiful group of human beings!

And the winner is:

COMMENT # 43 – Grace:

I have to say my absolute best birthday EVER was two years ago. On my birthday (12/19) my daughter had finished her chemo and radiation treatments and that was the day the oncologist declared her free of breast cancer. I spent the entire birthday crying but they were tears of thankfulness and joy. I still get teary eyed when I think about it.

Thanks for telling us about Justin’s birthday, it’s always fun to wish someone a wonderful day on their special day.

And here’s a silhouette of Grace:

FYI – the number 43 was significant to this birthday celebration and was selected in advance of the post.

Grace, please email me to collect your birthday fun pack!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Now my birthday cakes are always white with pink frosting and say Happy Survivors Day – for both of us. Me for getting another year older and my daughter for having another cancer free year.
