Have a Golden Day and a Video

The craft world is embracing metallics these days.  They are everywhere.  Between the Occasions Catalog, the Annual Catalog and Sale-a-Bration, we have an AMAZING variety of metallics.  Today, I want to talk about the golds.  After I blab on and one for a bit about all the great gold products, I’ll share a video I made about one of my favorite gold items in the Occasions Catalog.

Without further ado, here’s a quick peek at the gold items available in the current catalogs.  You can click on any of the images to read more about them in my online store:

  2. Cool idea, Brian! Love how easy it is. TFS.

  3. Love it …love it ! I love everything you have shown today ! And that technique of separation is a keeper (that means you can do the same with silver ) I think the little gold wispy thingies add a touch of “cute” .
And the Oscar(big gold guy) goes to Brian King !!

  4. So, that’s how you did this, eh? Super clever, I love the way the gold thread curls up, super cute. Thanks for the tip, this gold Baker’s Twine is a two for one deal.
    Happy Sunday.

  5. Oh Brian – you know I love anything that sparkles! Once you separate the gold from the twine then you can run the twine through any ink pad to get exactly the color you want. Meanwhile anyone who doesn’t want all that lovely, glittery left over from the separation can send it to me! LOL

All kidding aside that was a great tip. AND of course, we love it when you make videos, it’s always so fun to see your face and hear your voice. You make a fantastic teacher.
