Before I share my post, I want to say that I’m so proud of my group – InKing Royalty is the name of my Stampin’ Up! team – demonstrators from all over the U.S. For this hop, I’ve also invited Pam Morris (my upline), Mary Fish (her upline) and Lisa Pretto (her upline) to join us. We’re such a close group, so we all know one another well. I’m so happy they were able to join in. Now, back to the hop…
Get Your Santa On
I’ve been fascinated by the dancing Santas in the Santa & Co. photopolymer stamp set from the very start. Wasn’t always in love with them but always fascinated. While I was studying these dancing Santas, I wondered if they would stack on one another – could I create a stack of perfectly-balanced Santas? I’m not one to sit around wondering, so I put my thoughts to the test. By finding the balance in each image (that place where the weight of each Santa is perfectly aligned), I was able to create a 6″+ stack of Santas. Yippee!
But, what do you do with a 6″+ tall pile of Santas? They are really too tall to really put on the front of a card, yet they are too adorable to not share with others. After a little pondering, I turned my Santas into a festive door hanger:
I colored these jolly men with Blendabilities and cropped the sentiment with my Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits. The base of this hanger is 4″ wide x 11″ tall. I cropped the hanger circle with a 2-1/2″ Circle punch. The panel of Santas is 2-1/2″ wide x 6″ tall.

Brian, you are so creative! That’s the best use of that stamp set I’ve seen so far! Those santas kinda creep me out but your door hanger makes them tolerable… haha! The door hanger would be perfect for hanging at work.

Love the Door Hanger! I can think of lots of ways to use this with stamping. Don’t you just love the Blendabilities for coloring? Great use of this stamp set!! Love your project.
