Introducing You to Stampin’ Up!’s 2015-2017 In Colors

Stampin’ Up!’s 2015-2017 In Colors arrived at my house yesterday morning, and they are INCREDIBLE!  Please let me say that again – they are INCREDIBLE!

I rushed home at 10:00 am (took an early lunch hour) when I received my alert that the boxes were delivered.

Today’s post is all about these gorgeous In Colors.  You already know how much I love colors, right?  I love how each and every color has a personality of its own.  These five beauties are no different – I love each of them for very different reasons.  If I were to describe them to you over the phone, I might say, “It’s close to [this color]” or “It’s somewhere between [this color] and [that color].”  Rather than TELL you, I’d love to SHOW YOU.

2015-2017 In Colors, Stampin' Up!, Brian KingBelow are some note cards I made with each of the five 2015-2017 In Colors.  I used the new colors as the base for each card and indicated that color in the panels with a little, white accent.  I’ve compared each color with other colors in the current Stampin’ Up! family of colors.

Without any further ado, I’d like to introduce you to your new favorite colors:

My photos aren’t going to fully capture the glory of each of these colors, but they will give you a great idea of how they compare to other colors you know.

How does the new Mint compare to Lost Lagoon? Hmmmm… I can’t wait to get these beautiful colors!!

    • I LOVE the mint – I expected it to be more green than blue, but I think it’s a blue. It’s a light, light, light shade of Lost Lagoon – I actually have a post prepared to show them together later this week or early next week. Yippee!

  10. Thanks for the side by side comparison. It really shows the differences.

  11. I’m soooo cucumber green with envy

  12. I have to agree with everyone Brian. This was a terrific way to introduce these new colors. I especially like the ability to compare them without having to wait until I get them and then do a lot of side by side stamping. You have done all that for me and I thank you. Aloha my friend!

Oh – loved the photo of you with the new catty! Can’t wait to get one.

  18. Mary Ann Huntington

Beautiful examples. I love how you showed them off. Hope you didn’t get a speeding ticket zooming home to tear into those boxes!

  19. I love the way you presented all of the new colors, my favorite is Cucumber Crush, I just think this shade of green is so vibrant and fresh.

  20. Brian, you always think of the best ways for us to do comparisons. Without yet seeing these in person (my order arrives tomorrow), I was beginning to think that Watermelon Wonder might be close to Strawberry Slush; and Tip Top Taupe might be close to Crumb Cake, etc etc. But NONE of thee new colors are close to their neighbors at all. Great job putting it in perspective!

  21. Oh, you big tease! Showing us those boxes and the hint of what’s in the open box! I cannot wait to see the new catalog. Those colors are REALLY nice and I LOVE (double underline) the way you showcased them. I am so in love with Hello Honey and the new colors will work so nice with it. Thank you!

  22. Great comparisons on the cards. Thanks for sharing! Love your photo with the new catalog! Just a bit of a ham, huh?
