Day Four: Spring One-for-One Card Swap

All good things must come to an end – and so must the cards from my Spring One-for-One Swap.  In a series of several posts over the next week, I will share these cards with everyone.  Please look them over, admire their beauty and then let the creators know how beautiful their cards are (I already know you’ll be kind with your comments, but I am going to request it, anyway).  If you participated in the swap and don’t see the card you received here, please wait to comment on the card when it debuts here.  That way, the creator of that card will be sure to see your comments.

I’m excited to showcase the last batch of cards from the swap – I know you’ll love these just as much as the others.  If you missed the other One-for-One Swap posts, you can see them here:

The collection of cards I’ll be sharing today might not all have current Stampin’ Up! products, but every card gives good ideas for color combinations, layouts, techniques.  Here are the cards shared by my wonderfully talented team members:Without further ado, here is the final batch of beauties from the swap:

Well I really liked the card with the Anchor , the worm is very cute and Maria is a master with the way she colored in her card. All beautiful cards with lots of ideas. Thanks to everyone for sharing. I have participated in a few swaps before but work keeps me busy. Since I am retiring at the end of the month, I will no longer have an excuse for not participating. So…..count me in on future swaps.

  5. WOW!! Brian, another beautiful batch of cards and I’m very happy to be in such lovely company, I wonder who got my card? The card with the kitty and the fish bowl is just so, so cute. I love shaker cards and this one is just such a wonderful one, it looks like one of the kitties is already swimming in there, such fun card by Nancy Smith. 🙂
Thank you Brian for hosting this swaps.

    • I know who received your card, and I know she has been waiting to post about it. I am just surprised she hasn’t posted yet today as she is always up before me. I will let her post her thoughts. I do know how thrilled she was to get your sweet card.

      • Hello Robyn, I’m always curious as to where my card ends up so, I will wait for your friend to post about it. Thank you for letting me know and for reminding her, you are so sweet.

        • Maria, so sorry that you had missed my response about your card but I did comment about it 5 days ago on May 17 at 8:28 AM. I was so glad that you had gotten mine and I had gotten yours I remarked about YOURS right away! I had even Facetimed with two other “Swapers” to show them your card and how cute it was. Again sorry for any mix up.

  6. WOW, I really don’t know where to begin. There is something I love about each card. I could go on and on, but I won’t. The card I made and the card I received are here. I loved my caterpillar from Meredith Leibman, what a great idea. Hope my card was liked too. 🙂
Brian, have a great 3-day weekend, ENJOY! The catalog stroll was so much fun last night. We have a lot to play with this weekend. 🙂

  7. Thanks Brian for organizing this swap. It was SO fun to see all the different ideas for so many different occasions. All the cards showed both the beauty of the people that created them, and the care they took with their creations. This has been a lot of fun.

  8. Another group of spectacular cards, folks! So many creative ideas that would never occur to me, who must always “sew” with a pattern. And what a delight to see my fellow Madison-area demo Vicky Heimbecker’s card here! She did not tell me she was going to participate in the swap. Yay!

I can’t wait to participate in another swap–this was such fun!

  9. Love Laura’s map card made with typeset. Nancy your shaker card is so sweet with the cats peeking in and out.
