Stampin’ at the Subway

As you already know from yesterday’s project, my Stampin’ Up! upline (Pam Morris), hosted a get together yesterday for our team members who are here in Atlanta.  Pam’s parents own a string of Subway sandwich shops, which are a perfect setup for a morning get together.  Not all of the team members showed up (it’s really difficult to plan a get together once the calendar flips over to December), but those who came had lots of fun.  Today I’m excited to share with you some snapshots of the fun we had.

We were all greeted with a Christmas tree that Pam had decorated with tags from the Oh What Fun Tag Project Kit (see it here).  How adorable is this silver tinsel tree decorated with these tags?  Oh What Fun Tag Kit, Stampin' Up!

And check out the packages that were wrapped under the tree – I just love how Pam stamped the deer from Jolly Christmas in Cherry Cobbler on the Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper on these gifts – so clean and simple.

We made two make-and-takes that Pam prepared – one is an adorable wine bottle tag, and the other is a super-fun ornament with the Sleigh Ride Edgelits Dies.  Pam found this project on Pinterest.  It uses a half-globe from the craft store that’s backed with cardstock.  Such a beautiful project and a unique way to showcase these dies!

Jolly Christmas, Stampin' Up!We also had a swap during an event (but you know that from yesterday’s post, right?).  Here are my team members and the swaps they brought:

There’s so much talent in this small group of people, huh?  Not only were our team members fun to hang out with at the get together, but (as you can see from the pictures above), Nolan also joined us.  Nolan is Julie DiMatteo’s newborn son, who is so sweet and absolutely adorable.  I have a very special gift with babies – when I make faces at a happy baby, they generally smile real big, then feel confused, then start to cry.  This gives everyone in the room an excuse to pick up the baby to console him/her.  Nolan was always in someone’s arms during the event.  🙂

After all the swaps and make-and-takes, we have lunch together – we enjoy sub sandwiches and salads for lunch.  The group surprised me with a birthday cake – my birthday is later this month.  Pam made a chocolate cake with peanut butter fudge icing (I love ANYTHING peanut butter – and this cake was absolutely amazing).

birthday cakeWhat a fun get together.  I hope you enjoyed the pictures – I’m glad I could share them with you today.

Thanks for stopping by today!
