More Cake Time

Yesterday I shared my super-sweet and simple card from this week’s Global Design Project sketch challenge.  In my post yesterday, I shared my thoughts about this wonderful color combination and my love for the Party Wishes stamp set and the Party Pants stamp set.  Today, I want to share a little more about this fun Sale-a-Bration stamp set.

If you missed my write-up yesterday, you can read all about it here. Here’s the card I shared:

More Tips, Tricks and Reminders

And here are a couple more things I want to share about this project:

  • Product Recap.  I love to share these fun graphics when I can to better show you how i”ve used my stamps, ink and paper to create my cards.  Here’s a quick rundown of the products I used in yesterday’s card:

Party Wishes, Party Pants, Stampin' Up!, Brian King, GDP026, Birthday Card

  • Party Pants.  The fun “CAKE TIME!” sentiment from Party Pants stamp set belongs with this fun cake from Party Wishes stamp set.  I shared all the images from the Party Pants stamp set in yesterday’s post – today I’m sharing a Stampin’ Up!-produced video that showcases how versatile this set is.

  • Bringing Birthdays Back.  Shannon West is a creative genius who works for Stampin’ Up!.  She started a grassroots campaign online this year to make card giving important on birthdays again.  Let’s all agree that emails and Facebook messages with “happy birthday” just don’t feel the same.  She developed this stamp to put on the backs of her birthday card envelopes to share her excitement.  #imbringingbirthdaysback, Stampin' Up!You can buy this stamp set now – #143573 – for just $12.  Just look how great it looks on the back of these birthday cards.  How will you celebrate your friend’s birthdays this year?

I like this card even more today. Gotta tell you this: Yesterday I received a early birthday card in the mail with that # saying on the back. One of my neighbors was subbing for the mailman and she asked me what that was all about. She thought that was so cool and told her other postal buddies. Now, she wants me to make her a card and all her coworkers for their birthdays. She is going to write something up for the employee newsletter type thing they have,. So, it goes to show that mail people are aware of all our fun stamping etc.!

  2. So pretty and like the tips!
