Easy Birthday Card

Use those scraps!

After my Stamp-a-Stack event this past weekend, I was left with a pile of Tempting Turquoise and Pacific Point circles. In the process of swiping these circles into the trash, I thought better of it. Why not use them in a simple, retro card? One of my favorite stamp sets from years gone past is Simply Circles. I decided to recreate that stamp set in punched out circles.

Here’s a quick punching tip I learned from Mary Fish at www.stampinpretty.com: punch the small, inside circle first. Then punch the larger, outside circle. That way, you can easily line up the circles to center or offset them however you want.

Stamps: Perfectly Penned
Inks: Tempting Turquoise
Paper: Tempting Turquoise, Pacific Point, Whisper White
Accessories: circle punches
