One-for-One Swap Cards: Part 3

Boy, oh, boy! Do I have a treat for you? Today is the last day of the One-for-One Swap Cards. About a month ago, I asked my readers to send me a card they made. I received them (loving every minute of it), swapped them around and mailed them back out. It’s my gift to you – a beautifully crafted greeting from a stranger. If you didn’t see Part 1 and Part 2 of these cards, be sure to check them out.

As with the other posts, I invite you to please comment on this post with your praise for these works. Let the creator know how much you loved their card, their color choices, their techniques by posting comments below. Spread the love around, and no negative words, please.

How lucky was I to receive all of these!?! Even if I had to send them back out into the world, I enjoyed receiving every one of them. I will definitely be doing more of these swaps in the future. Thanks, again, for participating!  I WILL be doing this again soon.

Before I sign out, I really, really, really hope you will sign up for a slot in one of my swaps. I’m an accountant by trade, and the nerdy bean counter in me really want to sort through a bunch of tiny brads and buttons. I want to meticulously divide them out so I can deliver them to you. Won’t you please check out the shares posted below? 🙂

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

Brian

Thank you for your kind remarks, I’m so glad you liked the card. One of my favorite things to do is come with new ways to use my products. I did just that while making the little purse…would you ever guess that was a coffee mug die. Thanks again!

  3. Brian, thank you so much for sharing your swaps, and especially for taking your time to post them. You’re the best, Linda Fisher

  4. Hey Brian….sorry I am late to the party. I was out of town . WOW..these cards you have displayed are just great . Thank you for displaying them . They also gave us all some new ideas anthed ways to use our stuff . My swap card hasn`t arrived yet so I kinda feel like my swap buddy thinks somebody didn`t like their card enough to make a comment . So today I will look at all the cards and wonder which one is mine? BTW…why don`t you think about seeing if some of your groupies would like to form a swap club at some point ? Don`t tell her ,but I`m going to go visit Patti`s blog today …! As far as the bundles …I am glad you are doing that now because that`s how I decide what I`d like to order and you know some things are much prettier in the real and others not so much. Therefore please please do this for the new mini next year since my stock is full at the present . Leaving now..I will check in later if my card shows up!!!

  5. A beautiful display once again and what a vesatile collection. Wouldn’t it be great to get a box of these? Your participants display such artistic flair, every single one is a beauty!

  7. It has been so wonderful to wake up each morning and check out these fabulous cards! All of you such an inspiration to my stamping, and I will take many elements I have seen here to move forward with my own cards! It must have so much fun to receive these, Brian…..lucky you and lucky us, too!

  8. Truly gorgeous cards! I love the color combination in Kathy Williams’ fall leaves and the watercolor paper used for Diane Roberts’ snowman. And did you notice the illumination emanating from the flashlight? I could go on and on about each card… But a special shout-out to Jennifer in Santa Cruz — I grew up “over the hill” in Saratoga and learned to drive on Hwy 17 every weekend (when I could talk my dad into it) one summer going to the beach!

  9. I love reading your posts, Brian. What a fun way to start the day–coffee and a treat! Thanks for sharing these beautiful cards! 🙂

  10. All the cards were just great. Thanks to all who participated and thank you Brian for sharing them.

  11. Thank you Kathy Williams! I got your beautiful Fall card and loved it. Thanks for the details on how you made it. I have this set but have never used the leaves and cut them out. But you inspied me. That is what I love about swaps! You get new ideas. Thanks Brian for sharing all of the cards. Such variety! Thanks for hosting!!

    • Tricia you are so welcome! Glad you liked the card. This is a card that i did in one of my recent monthly card classes. This was so much fun! Thanks Brian for hosting the sway and posting everyone’s cards that participated. So much fun to look at them all!

  12. I am the lucky girl who received Jennifer Lane’s gorgeous card! Thank you Jennifer, I love it! The picture doesn’t do it justice, really. Not only is the front of the card awesome, but so is the back! Jennifer took time to stamp on the back as well…and even stamped on the little ‘ingredients’ sheet inside! Love all the little coordinating details. It has been a pleasure to participate in a swap with so many talented card makers, I look forward to the next swap! Thanks for doing all the work Brian so we could have all the enjoyment! 😉

  13. Brandy, I am so glad you liked my card- it was fun to make!!! And I was the happy recipient of Pam’s Christmas Cheer card!! I think I may have to get that stamp set- you made it look so easy to put together and I love the cherry cobbler dot on the holly, nice detail. Brian, thanks so much for organizing this swap- it continues to be very fun!!!

  14. I’m intrigued by Stacy’s card with the flashlight etc. do those images flip over, like a book?

  15. Stacey: I’m so glad you liked the pear card, thank you for your compliments. That little purse is just darling and no, I never would have guessed it was a mug die!!! I trully admire people like you who can think outside the box and, in your case, see a purse where I see a mug, LOL. Love your card, thank you again for all the care and time you put into it.
    Maria.
