You ask for it, you get it. Your wish is my command. After my first video tutorial, you asked me to pop in and show my face. You wanted me to introduce myself either before or after I share some stampin’ goodness. And the way you batted your eyes when you asked – how could I ever say “no” to a face like that?
Brace yourself. I’ve got a video tutorial for you today, and I’ve added a personalized touch. This is the cheesiest introduction I could have dreamed up, but I quite like it. With this Quick and Easy Christmas Card video, I wanted to share some ideas for painting with Blender Pens (I DO love those little pens) and adding bling without too much mess. I hope you like it:
I warned you, didn’t I?
The tutorial was crafted to show techniques and to provide some tips and tricks, so the resulting card is just an afterthought. It’s still worth sharing. Oh, and I did use Dazzling Details AND Glimmer Paper. Are you proud of me? So, here’s the card I made:
and a close up to show you all that glittery goodness:
Stamp Sets: Easy Events Inks: Stazon Jet Black, Always Artichoke Stampin’ Write Marker Papers: Always Artichoke, Whisper White, Glimmer Paper (Red) Accessories: 1/2″ Seam Binding Ribbon (Always Artichoke), 2-1/2″ Circle punch, 3″ Circle Originals die, Dazzling Details (Cherry Cobbler), Stampin’ Dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
Brian

Great job! Enjoyed the tutorial! :0)
Great video! Chock full of little tips. Gotta go get a lint roller for the craft room …
Aces Aces all the way! That’s your perfect tutorial right there! Well done! Love the lint roller tip, as the paper too will hang out on those dies!
Awesome….lint roller….I would have never thought of it…..just thought I’d have sparkly die cuts forever. Great tutorial!!
Oh WOW, Brian, awesome video and that introduction is not cheesy at all. Your voice comes out loud and clear and the explanation is right on the money. Great idea of the lint roller, I don’t mind GLITTER at all but I will get me one. Thank you for another great tutorial.
Cheesy? I don’t think so. It’s Christmas you need to hear jingle bells jingling. I’m in agreement with everyone, lint roller is a super idea. Will be logging it in my tips & tricks notebook. You look very comfortable in front of the camera. A true star.
Agreed!
What a fun surprise this morning …Bravo….Encore…. loved the added wardrobe detail of a red shirt to add the perfect touch . You do such a great job with these videos … now we are going to start hounding you for more….love the lint roller tip !!! I have used vegtable brushes, used dryer sheets and adhesive tape wrapped around my hand…this is right on the button . You did it again with another CAS card plus …. what`s there not to like ???/
Great video! The card is a beauty and we can tell it is getting closer to Christmas as you go gliltzy! Do you really think Staz On smells like almonds? That is the question of the day. Excellent presentation Brian! A+
Ya Hoo! Love the card! Love the video! And, I think you’re great! I also love the smell of Stazon, but had not thought of almonds…but you’re right! I always said “Stazon smells good enough to eat” and of course, my friends would say “we want to see that”! 🙂 Anyway, thanks for a great card and tutorial! As a girl who LOVES glitter, I would also add three little dots of Dazzling Details to that ribbon on the left of the circles. (just sayin’) 🙂
love the card and your video is the bomb! love that we get to see you. brave man!

Fantastic tutorial! Love the tip about the lint roller. I just wish it would get the glitter out of my paper trimmer. :/ The card was simply beautiful, too.
OH! And while I totally agree with you that Stayz On smells wonderful, I don’t think it’s quite the way to get into the Christmas Spirit at my house – I have two kids under age 4. 😉

Colleen T. in winter-filled MT
Brian, you were made to do videos..can’t wait to see more of them..hurry up on the Valentine cards since I need to design these soon for card class in Jan. Thanks for sharing your ideas and tips!
Wonderful video!
love it!
Loved this, Brian! It also made me look at this stamp with new eyes: it’s always said “mistletoe” to me, not “holly”. Love to get extra ideas for the same stamp.
Really enjoyed seeing you at the start of the video, and your instructions and tips were clear. Roll on the next one!
