Video Tutorial: Hearts Border Punch

Earlier this week, I shared a cute baby card that features a delicate border of heart cutouts.  Here’s the card I shared:

  13. Hi Brian:

Thanks so much for the great video. I too am a visual learner so watching you actually make this card center makes it so much easier than just reading the steps. I realize that making these videos is extremely time consuming even though they look easy to the watcher. Thank you for all your efforts on our behalf. Please know that it is appreciated.

I’m so excited for you to be heading to convention. I’m hoping that at some point you will share what you are making for swaps with us. I’m sure you are going to have an absolute blast and get to see so many of your SU Demo friends. It’s always exciting to read your blog after convention especially. Have a safe and fun filled trip!

  14. Brian, thank you for the video! I think I hadn’t even noticed the heart border punch in the catalog! I went right to it after you posted your sweet card. Yet another item to put on my wish list. Great pillows by the way! They do look like Pistachio Pudding! Have an amazing time at convention – know you will!

Brian, the first thing I noticed in your new video was what others have commented on…PILLOWS! :o) They look great…kinda like the bling on a card. ;o) Thanks for the tutorial, I have lots of ideas to employ the technique now.

  22. you read my mind by making this tutorial! didn’t realize the hearts were done with a border punch! so cool!

  23. WOW, thanks for sharing. Very easy compared to the MS punches where I measured everything per directions and nothing matched up. I put confetti in every card I mail!!!!

  24. Wow! Much easier than it looks! Thank you for sharing.
P.S. Looking forward to some videos recorded in your dungeon where all the magic happens!

  25. Love this! Brian, you never cease to amaze and inspire me. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

  26. LOVE this video Brian! And I am totally bombing and exploding you with confetti…first chance I get! You are a hoot! 🙂 🙂 🙂

  27. Brian, TFS the video, you make it look so easy! Really love the new pillows too!

  28. dang it, Brian, now I NEED that punch, hahaha! Seriously, tho, what a great new way to use a border punch! You are truly the bomb!

  29. Now Brian, how did you keep a straight face when you knew those new pillows were sitting right behind you??? 🙂

  30. THANK YOU!!! Finally had time to sit and enjoy your video. In addition to needing those dimensions you gave, I immediately realized with anxiety that I wouldn’t be able to get that Bracket Label punched in the center. WHEW! You solved that problems too!!! I hadn’t thought of putting those tiny hearts inside the envelope until you enabled my vengeful side, so I thank you and so do all my friends! ha ha ha haha!!

  31. Another great BK production!
