[Somewhat] Simple Saturday with a New Holiday Bundle

It started as a Simple Saturday project and quickly got a little out of hand.  The Fungeon inspires so much creativity that I couldn’t stop at simple.  Still, this card is easy to duplicate – AND (and this is the best part of it all) all of the stamps and Framelits used to make this card are available to you TODAY!  Woo hoo!  Here’s my card:

Bright & Beautiful, Beauty of the Season, Stampin' Up!, Brian KingYesterday was Day 1 of Stampin’ Up!’s Big Shot Promotion.  Who doesn’t love a great discount on the products they already love?!?  So, here’s the deal, when you buy a Big Shot during August, you can select from a variety of stamp set/Framelit bundles FOR FREE.  If you already have a Big Shot (or don’t want to buy a second or third one), then you can earn a 15% discount on the same bundles.  Here are the options (click on the chart to see all of the options):choices for discounted bundles on BS promotionIf you were paying close attention (and I know you were), you noticed that there’s a new stamp set from the Holiday Catalog available in these bundles.  That means you can buy it now!  It just so happens to be the stamp set I used in the card I’m sharing with you today.  Wow!  What coordination!  It was almost like I had planned this post around the promotion…

So, both stamp sets I used (both from the Holiday Catalog) are currently available for purchase.  How fun!  Let’s review (click on either set to view it in my online store):

Bright & Beautiful:Beauty of the Season:

My card measures 4-1/2″ x 7-1/4″, which allowed me to make a coordinating envelope with my Envelope Punch Board.  I covered the flap of the envelope with the GORGEOUS Designer Series Paper (sorry, that’s not yet available for purchase yet).

Has Your Demonstrator Disappeared?  I’ve received several messages over the past couple of weeks from avid stampers who’ve lost their demonstrator.  If your Stampin’ Up! demonstrator won’t return your calls (possible reasons: on an indefinitely extended vacation, simply closed-up shop, mysteriously abducted by aliens), please reach out to me at [email protected].  I would LOVE to be your demonstrator and earn your business.  🙂

  1. Gotta love the stars! Great card!

  2. Beautiful card – I’m beginning to cave on this bundle! Thanks for the inspiration! And the laughs:-). Have a great weekend!

  3. Pretty, pretty, pretty – and the best part is this is a card you could “production line” produce when you panic at Christmas time because you haven’t gotten your cards done. The fact that they are monochromatic, so when you are making them your space isn’t overwhelmed with product, makes their assembly even easier. Beautiful, I just love it.

  4. LOVE this card! The colors are amazing! I so enjoy reading your blog every day Brian. You keep me inspired to create beautiful cards.
