Seeing Stars with Stampin’ Up!’s 2014 Holiday Supplement – Sneak Peek

Stampin’ Up!’s 2014 Holiday Supplement rolls out next week – I offer a copy of every catalog to my customers.  If you are my customer and haven’t received your copy (or if you want to be my customer and don’t have a copy), please email me at [email protected] so I can get a copy in the mail to you right away.Stampin’ Up! demonstrators are able to order from this supplement THIS WEEK (pre-orders are an amazing perk of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator – I’m sharing another a little later in the post).

Sneak Peek at Many Merry Stars

I couldn’t be more excited to share a sneak peek at THE MOST INCREDIBLE product in the new book (in my humble opinion).  Every time I flip through the supplement to review the new products, I’m amazed at how much goodness is packed in this kit, and I’m amazed by the value of the product.  Before I get into that, here’s a snapshot of JUST A HANDFUL of the stars in this kit (and my living room mantel):

Many Merry Stars Kit, Stampin' Up!, Brian King

For just $25.95, this kit includes the materials to make 26 (TWENTY-SIX) stars in six sizes.  Again, that pictures represents JUST 9 of the 26 STARS.  The scored edges to these stars are lined with adhesive side-strips, so you just have to lay out all the pieces and assemble.  To set the mood, you might want to play some Christmas classics on the old jukebox (or iPod [or iPhone]).  You’ll be in the spirit in no-time.

The centerpiece of this kit is a kraft-colored star with a 15″ diameter.  How big is that?  You really have not idea from the picture above because (a) you don’t know how big the others are and (b) you don’t know how big my mantel is.  You do know how big a Diet Coke can is, so I set my can beside it to show you how GINORMOUS this star is:

So, how does Stampin’ Up! deliver such a big piece of cardstock to us?  Here’s a snapshot of the bag the kit comes in:Many Merry Stars Kit, Stampin' Up!, Brian KingIt’s almost like receiving a blanket in the mail.  🙂  To give you an idea of how big this kit is, the piece of cardstock to the right of the kit is a 12″x12″ piece of Designer Series Paper.

This kit is worth every penny.  As with all other items in the Holiday Supplement, the kit is being offered on a “while supplies last” basis.  When Stampin’ Up! released the Keepsake Christmas Ornament kits last year, they sold out quickly.  You won’t want to miss out – so be ready to place your order on Monday, October 20.

Thanks for stopping by today!

  1. I am always looking for something to send to my two grown nieces and their families at Christmas. This is the perfect item. I’m sending before Thanksgiving so they’ll have time to make as a family. Thanks, Stampin’ Up!

  2. Brilliant idea to add the Coke can for visual reference! Great job showcasing the kit!

  3. what are the sizes of the stars and how many are there of each size? Are they a box with a top & a bottom?

    • Karen, There are a total of 26 stars in the kit. One of the huge one and an even number of the other five sizes (I think – I’ll look when I get home). The finished product is a hollow, 3-D star – no lid. They are decorations for a mantel, wall or tree, although you could hang them from the ceiling or attach the smaller ones to a gift.

  4. Darn you..I had myself talked out of getting this kit but you had to post this and I was sucked into reading it! Thanks a lot! …………… Hugs!

  5. Oh my stars! What an awesome kit. 🙂

  6. You really do need to see this kit to appreciate its awesomeness! We just got shown it at European Convention and now I need it. I had decided not to get it as I spent enough money – but never mind!
