A Simple Thanks: an InKing Royalty Swap

Since I purchased my Stampin’ Up! Starter Kit three years ago (my three-year anniversary is next week!), I’ve been thrilled to add so many fun-loving, crafty people to my group of talented demonstrators.  I love the connections I’ve made with each of my Royals (our team name is InKing Royalty), and I love the connections they’ve made with each other.

Each month, I host an online Team Gathering where we discuss Stampin’ Up!’s new products, promotions, events and other hot topics.  Every other month, I host a live gathering for my team members in Atlanta.  It’s a wonderful time to get together and stamp and chat and share.

Today I’m happy to share a super-simple, bright-and-cheery card I made for our card swap at this past week’s live meeting.  I am still surprised at how I was able to make so many.  I did my cutting and stamping at home and then glued in the parking lot outside my dentist’s office and in my office at lunch.  In the end, I’m happy with the finished product.  Here’s my card:

Tips, Tricks and Reminders

  • Sale-a-Bration Items.  This card uses two fabulous products from Sale-a-Bration.  Can you name them?  (I knew you could – you’re so smart).  Of course they are Best Year Ever Designer Series Paper and For Being You stamp set.  The stamp set is one of four new items introduced during Sale-a-Bration in March.  You can click on either of the below pictures to see the items in my online store.  If you haven’t checked them out yet, they are all pictured at the bottom of this post. best year ever dspFor Being You
  • Stamp-a-ma-jig.  After I cut these pieces of Designer Series Paper for the card front, I stamped the sentiment and hearts in Jet Black StazOn.  I used my trusty Stamp-a-ma-jig to line everything up just like I wanted it – I don’t know how I’d go on without that amazing tool.  If you would like to learn more about the Stamp-a-ma-jig, click here to see my video.
  • Here and there.  I mentioned above that I assembled these cards in my car and at my desk at work during lunch.  Here are some photos that document my efficient use of time:For Being You, Stampin' Up!, Brian King For Being You, Stampin' Up!, Brian King For Being You, Stampin' Up!, Brian King
