NEW VIDEO: How to Create Borders on Banners

The card I shared with you yesterday features tiny banners as an unexpected accent.  Not only does the banner serve as a callback to the pattern in the balloon, but I bordered the banners with a thin strip of cardstock that frames the banner perfectly.  Here’s a quick refresher of the card I shared:

Geometrical, Balloon Bash, Stampin' Up!, Brian King, PPA250I created a quick video to show how you, too, can create borders to beautifully frame your banners – say that five times fast.  Enjoy!

As I mentioned in the video, this same technique works well with the larger banners in the Banners Collection Framelits.  Slice a little bit off each side, and you’re all set to go!

Stamp Sets:  Geometrical,  Balloon Bash  Papers:  Lullaby Designer Series Paper, Baked Brown Sugar, Whisper White  Inks:  Coastal Cabana, Jet Black Stazon, Tuxedo Black Memento  Accessories:  Banner Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Retiring Products

Please Take Another Peek.  Please do yourself a favor, and take another peek at the items that will be retiring at the end of this month (or while supplies last).  While stamp sets orders are guaranteed through the last week of May, accessories and papers are gone when they are sold out.  There are LOTS of great items – many of them discounted.  I don’t want you to wake up sad on June 3 (or tomorrow – if that item you want it completely sold out).
