Today I just wanted to share a quick-and-simple card with a super-sweet image from Santa’s Gifts stamp set. The layout is simple, the colors are fun and the images are festive. Does it get any better than that? This card is a perfect “thank you” for a sweet holiday gift or to leave with a party host during Christmas. Sweet, simple, fun. Because I don’t want you to forget about all the Holiday items in the Annual Catalog (and available online), I’ve included a link to them below – you’re welcome. 🙂 Here’s my card:
Tips, Tricks and Reminders
- Don’t Forget. There are so many great Christmas stamp sets in the Holiday Catalog, but don’t forget about the wonderful sets that were included in this year’s Annual Catalog. White Christmas, Lots of Joy, Every Blessing, Merry Everything, Festival of Trees, Wondrous Wreath – and the set I used today, Santa’s Gifts. There are also some Christmas-themed photopolymer sets you don’t want to forget about. They are all great options for the festive holiday – I’ve included all of them below.
- Quick-and-Easy Coloring. The little tree from this stamp set is just adorable – perfect for a quick-and-easy coloring. To add the Pear Pizzazz to the tree, Real Red to the ornaments, Daffodil Delight to the star and Crumb Cake to the pot, I simply added color with my ink pads and a Blender Pen – so easy! - Festive Christmas Color Combination. Pear Pizzazz is such a sweet shade of green – and it pairs perfectly with the brightness of Real Red. Instead of stamping the images in Basic Black, I used my Archival Basic Gray ink for a little switcheroo. Love the pairing of these colors! If you, too, like them, feel free to save this:
Stamp Sets: Santa’s Gifts Papers: Basic Gray, Real Read, Thick Whisper White, Season of Cheer Designer Series Paper Inks: Archival Basic Gray, Real Red, Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake Accessories: Washi Label punch, 2-1/2″ Circle punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals
