Holiday Cheer for the InKing Royalty Blog Hop

It’s the most wonderful time of the year!  Over the past few months, I have shared lots of Christmas and snow-themed cards and projects.  I’m excited today to share some amazing work from amazing artists in my Stampin’ Up! team (InKing Royalty).  My team’s blog hops are a highlight for me – I’m always amazed at the projects they share and am proud to share them with you.

Holiday Cheer

Welcome to InKing Royalty’s December Blog Hop!  Today’s hop is filled with inspiring projects that share lots of Holiday Cheer.  We are excited to share our projects and hope you’ll find great inspiration from our talented team members in this hop.  After you read my post, I  hope you’ll hop over to the next person on the list at the base of this post.

Sharing Christmas Cheer

It’s always a good idea to have a little bit of everything stashed away in the craft room – JUST IN CASE you need it.  🙂  It just occurred to me that I’ve not made a Costco run in a while – that’s where I usually pick up great gifts for my team members at work and friends in the building.  Thank goodness I had stashed away a couple of these Tag a Bag Gift Boxes – perfect for a sweet treat for coworkers.  I dressed them up with Home for Christmas Designer Series Paper (I’ve been holding on to these prints – so it was time to let them go) and a couple of other fun embellishments.  Add in some Lindor Snowman Milk and White Chocolate Truffles, and we’ve got a wonderful gift!  How cute are these?

The band.  I simply cropped a 4″ x 11″ strip of printed paper from the reindeer and Santa papers and combined it with a 4-1/4″ x 11″ strip of Real Red Envelope Paper.  Why Envelope Paper?!  It gave me the red I wanted but didn’t add an uncomfortable thickness to the band around the box.  It’s thinner than the Designer Series Paper and wrapped perfectly around the boxes.

The embellishment.  I cropped a 1-1/4″ tag with Real Red cardstock and punched the ends with my Scalloped Tag Topper – so handy – and added a little, red bow with the Real Red Envelope Paper.  A perfect accent with the thin paper that made the bow curls so easy.  Yippee!

The sentiment.  The font and sentiment (from All Year Cheer) is one of my all-time favorites.  It’s very casual but still pairs well with a sophisticated look.  It’s exactly what I wanted to say on all of these packages of goodies I made for my friends and coworkers.

But that’s not all!  While I was at it, I also made a handful of small bags for some other special people at work.  How cute are these simple bags?

Each of these Sketched Dots Tag a Bag Gift Bags is filled with these delicious truffles and topped with a fun, simple tag.  While these gifts go to different people, they make for quite an adorable collection.

Here’s quick shot of a completed bag and a tag that’s not yet attached to a bag.  The Designer Series Paper panel measures 2″ x 4″.  The Real Red Envelope Paper is cropped at 2-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ and is scored at 4-1/4″.  I simply wrapped the tag around the bag and stapled it in place with my Handheld Stapler.

  19. Lucky coworkers! These are adorable. The envelope paper is such a great tip. I just wrapped some Zipfizz tubes to give to staff in a craft warehouse, and red envelope paper would have been just the ticket!
