DAY ONE: Spring 2016 One-for-One Swaps

DAY ONE: One-for-One Card SwapsToday’s the day!  After a couple of weeks of collecting GORGEOUS cards in my mailbox for my Spring One-for-One Card Swap, I have the pleasure of sharing them with you.  Today I’m sharing SEVENTEEN amazing cards from YOU.  To top that off, those of you who participated have already begun to receive your fun mail in return.  This Spring One-for-One Swap was filled with beautiful inspiration, and I know you’re going to love these projects.

In a series of several posts over the next week, I will share these cards with everyone.  I love these swaps because they showcase beautiful projects from cardmakers at ALL SKILL LEVELS – some are brand new to the craft, and others have been creating for years.  Please look them over, admire their beauty and then let the creators know how beautiful their cards are (I already know you’ll be kind with your comments, but I am going to request it, anyway).

If you participated in the swap and don’t see the card you received here, please wait to comment on the card when it debuts here.  That way, the creator of that card will be sure to see your comments.

The collection of cards I’ll be sharing might not all have current Stampin’ Up! products, but every card gives good ideas for color combinations, layouts, techniques.  They are sure to inspire you.  Without any further ado, here is the first batch of your beautiful cards:

  1. Apologies for taking so long to comment on Diane’s beautiful card, which arrived several days ago as we were up to our elbows in preparation for a garage sale. Now I’ve had time to fully appreciate it–my fave green & pink color combo, by the way, as well as the selections from “Flowering Fields,” which was my top SAB choice! I know who I’m sending it to, just as soon as I can part with it. Thanks so much, Diane!

  2. All beautiful cards! I’m anxious to use some of the ideas.

  4. Lovely cards everyone! I received Stephanie’s beautiful card at the end! Love the folding of the DSP and have yet to try it! The card came in perfect time for a graduation card! I didn’t have one, so thank you! I know she’ll love it! Had fun swapping Brian!

  5. What a great combination of talent and product use! Great ideas and compositions to draw from. Thank you so much for bringing it all together in the same site we can drool over all the talent.

  6. What a beautiful collection of card designs! I especially liked Paulette’s masculine birthday card. I find it difficult to create cards for the men in my life and this one is just gorgeous. I may have to break down and get that stamp set ?

    • So glad you liked my card — thanks for your kind words! I just found your card on the Day Five post — really like the colors you chose and the gold accents you included in your design! I don’t have that stamp set but may have to add that to my next order — thanks for the inspiration!

  14. Susan Currey’s card got me from Pinterest to this blog. I like the simplicity of it and was looking for the information on the sets that she used. Lovely cards with lots of good ideas, however I’m drawn to the masculine card with the ship by Paulette Birkbigler. I like the layout and the colors and the detail of the look of sewing to set off the circle with the ship image. Good job!
