A Little Foxy Hooray!

When I sat down to create today’s card, I started with this zigzagged piece of paper from the A Little Foxy Designer Series Paper Stack and built my card around it.  Not only do I adore these colors, but I love the bold print – so many ways to showcase this beauty.  Here’s the card I made:

  • A Little Foxy.  I adore the A Little Foxy Designer Series Paper Stack.  What’s not to love?  Not only does this paper pair perfectly with everything the A Little Foxy Suite of products found on page 56 and 57 of Stampin’ Up!’s 2016 Annual Catalog, but the colors are fresh, and the patterns are versatile.  The stack contains fun images from the forest on one side (there are mushrooms, foxes, leaves) and cool graphic patterns on the other.  There’s no fox on this card – but the paper is a perfect accent.

  • A Band of Pride.  As I started to assemble this card, it had a panel of Pool Party and a panel of A Little Foxy – these panels were accented with the “Hooray” sentiment from Confetti Celebration and framed with a circle from the Layering Circles Framelits.  It needed more – I needed to find a way to add a touch of Calypso Coral to balance out all the colors.  Eureka!  I added a thin strip of Calypso Coral with this fun sentiment from Marquee Messages stamped over and over and over in the background.  Offers a wonderful “subtitle” to the piece, don’t you think?
  • Fresh Color Combination.  I adore the combination of Calypso Coral and Pool Party – they were first introduced to us as In Colors and both made their way into the Subtles collection of colors with the last big refresh.  What brand new color was added during that same refresh?  You got it!  Smoky Slate.  Together, these colors are perfection.  If you like this combination, feel free to save this:Stampin' Up!
