Thinking of You with Flourish Thinlits

Today’s card is a slight spin on the color combination for this week’s Pals Paper Arts color challenge which calls for Island Indigo, Pool Party and Whisper White.  I decided to stick with the blues and aquas to make a “thinking of you” card with Dapper Denim and Mint Macaron.  This card features a new Thinlits die and a sentiment from a carried-forward Christmas set.  Can you name it?

• Thinking of You.  In my opening paragraph, I mentioned that this sentiment comes from a Christmas stamp set – want to guess which one I used to create this beautiful sentiment?  I’ll give you a hint – it’s Embellished Ornaments, the stamp set filled with beautiful ornaments that pairs with the Delicate Ornament Thinlits Dies.  Oh, dang!  I didn’t even give you time to guess.  Inspired by the reveal of this stamp set at last year’s Convention, I simply masked “at Christmas” with tape to generate the beautiful – and beautifully balanced – thinking of you.
  

  Embellished Ornaments, Stampin’ Up!

• Sweet Color Combination.  While Mint Macaron bounces back and forth between blue and green, Dapper Denim (one of Stampin’ Up!’s 2016-2018 In Colors) is purely blue.  The combination of the two is super-sweet.  The Mint Macaron flourish is beautifully showcased against the blue background.  If you like these colors, too, feel free to save this for future inspiration:
