DAY ONE: Holiday One-for-One Card Swap

2016 Holiday One-for-One Swaps, Stampin' Up!Today’s the day!  Over the past several weeks, I’ve been actively collecting GORGEOUS Holiday cards in my mailbox for my 2016 Holiday One-for-One Card Swap.  Today I have the pleasure of sharing them with you.  Yay!  This Swap was filled with beautiful inspiration, and I know you’re going to love these projects.  In a series of several posts over the next two weeks, I will share these cards with everyone.

I love these swaps because they showcase beautiful projects from cardmakers at ALL SKILL LEVELS – some are brand new to the craft, and others have been creating for years.  Please look them over, admire their beauty and then let the creators know how beautiful their cards are (I already know you’ll be kind with your comments, but I am going to request it, anyway).

If you participated in the swap and don’t see the card you received here, please wait to comment about that card when it debuts here.  That way, the creator of that card will be sure to see your comments.

The collection of cards I’ll be sharing might not all have current Stampin’ Up! products, but every card gives good ideas for color combinations, layouts, techniques.  They are sure to inspire you.  Without any further ado, here is the first batch of your beautiful cards:

  38. Florence Pangelinan

Thank you, Mary Jane, for the card. I love the theme, as it reminds me of the birds that have set up residence around our home, and pine, evergreen and reminiscent of this time of year.

  39. Oh, Susan Smith, I am so sorry I didn’t comment here before. I absolutely loved your card, but I passed by it and waited patiently through all the days of photos. I had to go back and find your card, which I received. You certainly have enabled me with that reindeer die. It is so, so cute. I love the gold bow on the neck and the little “Merriest wishes” tag with the gold. Again, I’m sorry I missed this the first time around. Merriest wises to you too!
    🙂

  40. Sorry for the second post – I received Karen’s silent night sleigh card later and forgot to go back and post a thank you for the great card. The white paper had a bit of a texture to it and the sky part is just so pretty. I love the rolling hills with the sleigh and then the houses dark in the background. The moon is really fun – not sure what you used on it Karen. This card reminds me of the Paper Pumpkin kit this month. I love the layers. The card is prominently displayed in my living room. Thank you Karen and thank you Brian for organizing the swap!
