As a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, I am able to pre-order from Stampin’ Up!’s 2017 Occasions Catalog and start earning Sale-a-Bration products on December 1. Because I attended Stampin’ Up!’s On Stage event earlier this month, I was able to pre-pre-order a couple of items. Yippee! For today’s FabFriday sketch challenge, I’ve made a card that showcases a new product in the upcoming Occasions Catalog – Party Animal Designer Series Paper. Here’s my card:
And here’s the banner for the challenge that inspired my card:
Tips, Tricks and Reminders
- Party Animal Designer Series Paper. The Party Animal suite of products in Stampin’ Up!’s 2016 Occasions Catalog is designed around a super-fun birthday celebration – and people of all ages can enjoy these fun colors and patterns. I snapped a few closeups of this paper to give you an idea of how awesome the pages are. Enjoy!
- A Perfect Pair. While there’s a great stamp set that coordinates with this paper, there’s no sentiment that addresses the super-fun animals for which this paper is named. I reached back to my Annual Catalog – Balloon Builders – for the perfect sentiment! Not only does “PARTY ANIMAL” give me the words I wanted, but it’s playful and fun, too. Balloon Builders gives me a perfect sentiment for this awesome paper. If you don’t already have this set, go ahead and drop it into your shopping cart – you won’t regret it. 🙂
- Color Combination. The colors for this card were pulled right from the Party Animal Designer Series Paper. The paper features a variety of great colors: Crushed Curry, Emerald Envy, Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango, Crumb Cake and Whisper White. I love how these colors work together – so bright and cheery. I chose to feature Emerald Envy (green), Pacific Point (blue) and Crushed Curry (yellow). If you like this color combination, too, feel free to save this:
Stamp Sets: Balloon Builders Papers: Party Animal Designer Series Paper (2017 Occasions), Pacific Point, Crumb Cake, Whisper White Inks: Pacific Point Accessories: 1-3/4″ Circle punch, Layering Circles Framelit Dies, Stampin’ Dimensionals
I hope you’ll pop over to the FabFriday blog site to see the cards by the design team members and to play along with this week’s challenge.
Thanks for stopping by today!

This is so fresh and fun, BK. Lovin’ the party hats on the party animals!
Cute card ! Love this color combo (especially putting two of my faves together …Pacific Point and Emerald Envy ) This is a card that would be good to make up a few for those just in case times !
Happy D.A. T. (Day After Thanksgiving ) …. Smile !
Such fresh colours go together beautifully, Brian! And I love how you coloured the adorable birthday hats, too…teehee. 🙂
I wish could take credit for the party hats – they are already colored on the Designer Series Paper. So fun, right?!
As on Wayne’s World from SNL – “Party on Garth!” Cute card complete with the little party hats. Bright and cheerful, I like this color combo. Hope you had a great and thankful Thanksgiving.
I have looked at that stamp set many times and always say no. Now it’s a must have just for Party Animal! Thanks for enabling ?
