Introducing Three New 2017-2019 In Colors

This is a great time to be a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator!  Not only will many of us see the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog this weekend at Stampin’ Up!’s OnStage events, but we’ll also go home with some great, new product.  All demonstrators will be able to order select products from the new catalog in May before the catalog goes live to customer in June.  What fun!

As part of a new product special release that is now live for demonstrators and will be available to customers in May, demonstrators have been able to order from a new suite – Eastern Palace – and you’ll soon see great projects with this product.  As part of this launch, we’re able to order three of the new 2017-2019 In Colors. You know how much I adore working with color, so you can imagine how excited I was to receive these yesterday (in my overnighted order) and how thrilled I am to share these with you today.

Here are three of Stampin’ Up!’s new colors:

Fresh Fig, Stampin' Up! 2017-2019 In Color, www.stampwithbrian.com

Lemon Lime Twist, Stampin' Up! 2017-2019 In Color, www.stampwithbrian.com

Tranquil Tide, Stampin' Up! 2017-2019 In Color, www.stampwithbrian.com

The best way to show you how these colors fit into our current color families is to show you how they look right next to colors we already know.  Here are my thoughts on each of these amazing, new colors and a comparison to color already in our color families:

FRESH FIG

Fresh Fig is such a refreshing shade of purple.  It’s brighter than Perfect Plum and a bit more muted than Rich Razzleberry.  I have a feeling Fresh Fig is going to be very popular – it’s a beautifully sophisticated color that will fit perfectly in a variety of projects.  Here’s a look at Fresh Fig with Perfect Plum and Rich Razzleberry:

LEMON LIME TWIST

Lemon Lime Twist is the most out-of-the-ordinary color of the three new In Colors we’ve already seen.  I love the bright, vibrant shade that falls somewhere between yellow and green (as the name indicates).  We have NOTHING like it.  You might try to compare it to Lucky Limeade, which was a yellower Old Olive, but this is much brighter and is back with even more yellow.  Daffodil Delight is perfect for a lemon, and Pear Pizzazz is perfect for a lime.  Lemon Lime Twist is a wonderful mix of the two.  Here’s a look at Lemon Lime Twist with Daffodil Delight and Pear Pizzazz:

TRANQUIL TIDE

I love the aqua blues in Stampin’ Up!’s color families – beautiful balances between blue and green.  Bermuda Bay is the brightest aqua, and Island Indigo is the richest.  Tranquil Tide is the perfect in-between aqua with a little more green than Island Indigo and a little less blue than Bermuda Bay.  I am certain I’ll be using this color A LOT over the next two years.  🙂  Here’s a look at Tranquil Tide with Bermuda Bay and Island Indigo:

If you are a demonstrator, you can order the Classic Stampin’ Pads for these new colors today (if you haven’t already ordered them).  If you are a customer, these new ink pads will be available on May 1.  🙂  They are all included in the new Eastern Palace suite of products that will also be available on May 1.

What do you think of the new colors?  I hope you love them as much as I do.  I can’t wait to roll my sleeves up and start creating with these new, amazing colors!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Thanks Brian for your color comparison charts. They are the best! When I thought of fig I thought it would have a touch of brown to it but that’s ok it looks prettier than I imagined it. First of all thank you for the preview. The second I saw Lemon Lime Twist I was in love. It will be fun to play with it to find a blue that compliments it. Also, Daffodil Delight and Pear Pizzazz are often my “go to” colors so now they will have a friend they can play with. Your color combo charts are THE best and oh so helpful to me. Thank you again.
