Party Animal Suite for the Be Inspired Blog Hop

It’s time for another Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop – woo hoo!  If you aren’t starting the hop here, then you probably just jetted in from Australia where you visited with my oh-so-talented friend, Louise Sharp at louisesharp.com.  She’s incredible!  The Be Inspired Design Team is a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from all over the world who are excited to share our projects with you.  I’m honored to be a part of this group of talented stampers.

Today’s Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop features products from Stampin’ Up!’s Party Animal Suite of products.  These products are defined by their bold colors and fun graphics.  How could something called “Party Animal” NOT be fun?!  Here’s my card:

Balloon Adventures, Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits Dies, Stampin' Up!, Brian King, birthday card

Tips, Tricks and Reminders

  • Party Animal Suite.  Stampin’ Up! released its Retiring List this week (if you want to see that list, CLICK HERE) – and everything on page 5 of the Occasions Catalog (the focus of this hop) is retiring.  By the time you are reading this, it might all be gone.  Still, this is a super-fun suite with some really great products.  I love the fonts and sentiments in the Balloon Adventures stamp set – so fun!  I used this wonderful Crushed Curry piece of Party Animal Designer Series Paper to frame my fun sentiment and balloon.  It doesn’t get any better than that!  Here’s a look at the Balloon Adventures bundle:

  • A Quick CASE.  I CASE’d (Copy and Share Everything) this card right out of Stampin’ Up!’s 2017 Occasions Catalog – I was inspired by the card at the bottom of page 4, so I started there.  I like how the balloon floats right over the sentiment – so fun!  Balloon Adventures, Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits Dies, Stampin' Up!, birthday cardI added layers to the quick-and-easy card with the panel of Party Animal Designer Series Paper and changed up the sentiment and balloon.  I also added a little bow with the Balloon Pop-Up Thinlits Dies.  For the background layer, I only added Emerald Envy borders to the left and right side of the panel for a little something fun and different.
  • Sweet Color Combination.  I pulled Emerald Envy and Crushed Curry from the Party Animal Designer Series paper.  For a little fun, I added Fresh Fig, one of Stampin’ Up!’s 2017-2019 In Colors.  Together, these colors are fun and festive.  If you like this combination, too, please save this:Stampin' Up!
