An Eclectic Thank You for GDP098

My project for this week’s Global Design Project sketch challenge features three products from the Naturally Eclectic Suite (found on pages 132 and 133 of Stampin’ Up!’s 2017 Annual Catalog).  The paper, stamp set and coordinating dies gave me a perfect starting point for this sweet card.  Here’s my project:

And here’s the banner for the challenge that inspired my card:

Tips, Tricks and Reminders

  • Naturally Eclectic Suite.  The banners, background panel and flower on my card are pulled from the Naturally Eclectic Suite of products.  There are two pieces of the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper used on my card – (1) two of the banners showcase a gorgeous, striped piece of paper from the pack and (2) one of the banners, the back panel of the card and the flower feature a gorgeous, watercolored piece of Berry Burst paper from the pack.  If you’d like to see all of the items in this gorgeous suite, click on the picture below:Naturally Eclectic Suite, Stampin' Up!
  • Vertical Greetings.  When Vertical Greetings was first introduced in Stampin’ Up!’s 2016 Annual Catalog, I didn’t think I’d need it.  Boy, was I wrong!  I’ve reached for this set multiple times over the year to create fun cards that I couldn’t have created without the fun set!  The vertical “thank you” was perfect for this sketch, so I’m glad I had it handy.  Here’s a look a this set:

  • Sweet Color Combination.  I love the bold and sweet colors in the pages of the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper.  Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist worked so well in the papers that I used it for most of this card.  If you like this combination of Whisper White, Lemon Lime Twist and Berry Burst, please save this:  Stampin' Up!
