Picture Perfect Birthday for the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop

Stamping SundayI’m thrilled to be today’s guest stamper with Stamping Sunday, a group of talented stampers organized by Sara Levin. What fun! The group is sharing projects created with the Picture Perfect Party suite of products from Stampin’ Up!’s 2018 Occasions Catalog. As Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators, we are able to order items from the upcoming catalog early – and we’re excited to share our projects with you.

The Picture Perfect Party suite is filled with bright, cheery, birthday-themed products. The Picture Perfect Birthday phototpolymer stamp set features fun images and great sentiments, and the Picture Perfect Party 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper is filled with amazing designs (one side of each page is a photograph of party materials, and the other side is a graphic design with coordinating colors). I created this simple card with this set and paper:

The Picture Perfect 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper is amazing, right? The panel of fun, shiny bows I used on my card deserves to be enjoyed, so I kept the panel big. When I find a layout I love, I like to share the measurements to help you create your own. Of course different papers need to be showcased differently, so these are only the measurements I used here:

I love the colors in this pack of Designer Series Papers, so I used them on my card – simple! If you like this combination of Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst and Bermuda Bay as much as I do, please save this:

Here are the Stampin’ Up! products I used to create my card:

My second project for today’s hop coordinates with the super-fun sentiment from Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set – “cue the confetti.” How could I NOT create a fun pouch filled with confetti in these fun, coordinated colors?! Of course that’s what I made!

Picture Perfect Birthday, Stampin' Up!, Brian King

I created a 3″ x 3″ envelope with my Envelope Punch Board and a piece of Berry Burst cardstock. Before assembling the envelope, I cut a hole through the front with a circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits and then created border with Lemon Lime Twist by layering the same circle with a Layering Circles Framelits Die. I lined the inside of my envelope with a 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ piece of Window Sheet and assembled the envelope.

I filled the envelope with confetti – small circles of Lemon Lime Twist, Bermuda Bay, Peekaboo Peach and Whisper White and tiny hearts in Berry Burst. What’s my secret for such perfect confetti? The confetti circles and confetti hearts were both found on my Cookie Cutter Builder punch (I used all three of the shapes shown on the right side of the punch below):

I added the fun sentiment along the top of the envelope and clipped it with a Bermuda Bay Birthday Mini Binder Clip, another product from this fun suite of products.

Here are the Stampin’ Up! products I used to create my confetti pouch:

Stamps:  Picture Perfect Birthday  Papers:  Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist, Bermuda Bay, Peekaboo Peach, Whisper White, Window Sheet  Inks:  Bermuda Bay  Accessories:  Cookie Cutter Builder Punch, Envelope Punch Board, Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies, Layering Circles Framelits Dies, Birthday Mini Binder Clips
