More Color Combinations from Tutti-Frutti Designer Series Paper

Over the past several months, I have shared many cards and projects that showcase the beautiful and vibrant Designer Series Papers from Stampin’ Up!’s 2018 Occasions Catalog. One of my favorites is the Tutti-Frutti Designer Series paper, a pack of 6″ x 6″ printed papers with a vibrant mix of bold colors and fun patterns. One side of each page features images of fruits – strawberries, bananas, kiwi. The other side of each page features coordinated patterns for any occasion.

I often pull my colors right from the papers as a starter. That’s a huge benefit of our Designer Series Papers – they are designed with the amazing shades in our color families, so the pair perfectly with our cardstock, inks and accessories. Here’s a look at this pack of papers, which includes 48 6″ x 6″ sheets (4 each of 12 double-sided designs):

What a fun mix of colors!

Tutti-frutti Designer Series Paper, Stampin' Up!I love how versatile these papers are – even if you don’t want to make a fruit-themed card, you can always enjoy the patterns on the other side! Here’s a card I made that showcases a Lemon Lime pattern from the stack – nothing fruity about this card (you can click on the photo to read the original post about this project):

Marquee Messages, Celebrate You Thinlits Dies, Stampin' Up!, Brian King And this card features both a fruit-filled paper and a patterned piece from the Tutti-Frutti papers (you can click on the photo to read the original post about this project):

A Good Day, Bubble Over, Stampin' Up!, Brian King, CTS259How fun is this paper?! Today I’m going to share a couple more suggestions for pulling these colors right from the patterns in the Tutti-Frutti 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper.

Straight from the Papers

These colors are combined from the colors exclusively in this stack of papers:

Stampin' Up! Color Inspiration: Bermuda Bay, Real Red, Lemon Lime Twist

Stampin' Up! Color Inspiration: Sweet Sugarplum, Rich Razzleberry, Garden Green

Stampin' Up! Color Inspiration: Pool Party, Berry Burst, Basic Black

Combined with Other Colors

By adding one other color to the shades in these patterns, you can really transform the feel of the Tutti-Frutti 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper.  Here are some color combinations starters that feature two colors from this stack and one color from outside the stack:

Stampin' Up! Color Inspiration: Daffodil Delight, Sweet Sugarplum, Old Olive

Stampin' Up! Color Inspiration: Tangerine Tango, Real Red, Night of Navy

Stampin' Up! Color Inspiration: Pool Party, Soft Suede, Peekaboo PeachBy limiting the colors you’ll use in a project (or expanding the colors to those outside a pack of papers), you can really find some beautiful color combinations for our projects.

Here are some fun products that coordinate with the Tutti-Frutti 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Papers:
