Introducing Stampin’ Up!’s 2018-2020 In Colors

It’s a great time to be a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator! Not only have demonstrators seen the 2018 Annual Catalog (it was unveiled at this weekend’s OnStage events and has been posted online for demonstrators), but we’ve also begun to order some great, new products. Yay! All demonstrators will be able to order select products from the new catalog in May before the catalog goes live to customer in June. What fun!

Part of the excitement around seeing the new catalog is the reveal of the new In Colors. How exciting! I am thrilled to share these new colors with with you today. Here are Stampin’ Up!’s 2018-2020 In Colors:

Stampin' Up!'s 2018-2020 In ColorsWhat a bright and cheery bunch, don’t you think? If ever there were a primary collection of colors, this is it! I can’t wait to start using these fun, new colors. The best way to show you how these colors fit into our current color families is to show you how they look right next to colors we already know. Here are my thoughts on each of these amazing, new colors and a comparison to color already in our color families.

Lovely Lipstick

Lovely Lipstick is a bold, happy shade of pink. There’s nothing dowdy or quiet about this fashion centerpiece. It screams, “I love pink, and I’m not ashamed or embarrassed to say it!” I am certain Lovely Lipstick will be a welcomed addition to our colors for the next two years. Here’s a look at Lovely Lipstick:

Lovely Lipstick, Stampin' Up! 2018-2020 In Color

Lovely Lipstick is brighter than Melon Mambo (can you believe it?!) – it almost makes Melon Mambo look soft and dusty. It’s a bit more pink the Real Red. Can you imagine how much fun this new color will add to your current color collection? Here’s a look at Lovely Lipstick with Melon Mambo and and Real Red:

I love that this bold pink pairs perfectly with the softness of Pool Party and the brightness of Lemon Lime Twist. Good times! Together, these three colors are magic:Stampin' Up! Color Inspiration: Pool Party, Lemon Lime Twist, Lovely Lipstick

Grapefruit Grove

Just as we are losing Peekaboo Peach (a retiring 2016-2018 In Color), Grapefruit Grove makes it’s grand entrance. Grapefruit Grove is a soft orange with some orange and pink tones. While all of the other 2018-2020 In Colors are bright and bold, Grapefruit Grove has a softness that’s refreshing. Here’s a look at Grapefruit Grove:  Grapefruit Grove, Stampin' Up! 2018-2020 In Color

Grapefruit Grove is closest in color to Peekaboo Peach and Pumpkin Pie – yet it’s not really like them at all. This new color takes on a new life each time it’s paired with a new color. Does this new color look sweet with other soft, gentle colors? Well, let’s find out! Here’s how Grapefruit Grove plays with So Saffron and Pear Pizzazz – what a gorgeous combination!Stampin' Up! Color Inspiration: So Saffron, Grapefruit Grove, Pear Pizzazz

Pineapple Punch

Pineapple Punch isn’t playing around. When Stampin’ Up! decided to deliver a bright, bold yellow, Pineapple Punch really showed up! There’s not a hint of Subtle or Regal in this brand new shade of yellow – it’s all bright. I think we’ll all be jumping on the pineapple boat before too long because this color in infectious! Please help me welcome Pineapple Punch:Pineapple Punch, Stampin' Up! 2018-2020 In Color

Before you tell me that Pineapple Punch is like Daffodil Delight, I want to show you how it matches up with the other yellows in our color family. What a gorgeous standout! Here’s how Pineapple Punch lines up with So Saffron and Daffodil Delight: Pineapple Punch Comparison, Stampin' Up! 2018-2020 In Color: So Saffron, Daffodil DelightWhat do you think?! That’s definitely on the bright side of the spectrum – very pineappley. This shade of yellow is a party and looks great with other bright colors that have a little more depth. Blueberry Bushel

If I had to describe this new shade of blue without any knowledge of its name, I would definitely compare it to a blueberry. It picks up all the blue tones of our favorite blue fruit – a festive royal blue. Here’s a look at the brand new Blueberry Bushel: Blueberry Bushel, Stampin' Up! 2018-2020 In Color

At first glance, you’d say that Blueberry Bushel is just like Pacific Point, but it’s actually richer and deeper than the bold blue we’ve known for years. Just look how the new Blueberry Bushel shines between Pacific Point and Night of Navy – there are some regal tones to this gorgeous blue:

Blueberry Bushel Comparison, Stampin' Up! 2018-2020 In Color: Pacific Point, Night of NavyRespecting the rich, regal tones in Blueberry Bushel, I paired it with Crushed Curry and Basic Gray. These colors clash and little and meld together beautifully (at the same time). Here’s how Blueberry Bushel looks with Crushed Curry and Basic Gray:Stampin' Up! Call Me Clover

When Stampin’ Up! gave us Emerald Envy a couple of years ago, we thought we’d found our bright, bold emerald green. That’s until Call Me Clover showed up in town and stole the show. This green is just what we’ve been waiting for. How bold! How bright! How green! Here’s a look at Call Me Clover: Call Me Clover, Stampin' Up! 2018-2020 In ColorYou might not see the bright tones Call Me Clover until you see the color right next to some of our other favorite greens. Here’s a lineup of Call Me Clover, Emerald Envy and Garden Green:

Call Me Clover Comparison, Stampin' Up! 2018-2020 In Color: Emerald Envy, Garden GreenHow beautiful is this shade of green?! I thought it would look really nice against some soft tones, so I paired Call Me Clover with Blushing Bride and Fresh Fig. What do you think of this color combination?Stampin' Up! Color Inspiration: Blushing Bride, Fresh Fig, Call Me Clover

What do you think of the new colors?  I hope you love them as much as I do.  I can’t wait to roll my sleeves up and start creating with these new, amazing colors!

But that’s not all! Along with the welcoming of these five In Colors, we are also welcoming back six colors that are former In Colors – these six colors will be integrated into Stampin’ Up!’s permanent color collection. How incredible! Here are the six colors that are coming back: Flirty Flamingo, Poppy Parade, Blackberry Bliss, Mint Macaron, Coastal Cabana and Mossy Meadow:

Stampin' Up! Returning ColorsAre you excited to see some of these back? We already know them, and we already love them. I’m so excited that these former In Colors have returned to join the permanent color collection. Good stuff!

To make room for these returning colors (and some additional, new colors that I’ll share with you later), we had to say, “Goodbye!” to some colors we love. Tomorrow, I’m going to share the retiring colors and some other retiring favorites you’ll want to act on SOON! πŸ™‚

Thanks for stopping by today!
