DAY THREE: 2018 Spring One-for-One Card Swap

12 Gorgeous Spring Cards, 2018 Spring One-for-One Card Swap Day ThreeI’m so excited to share another batch of beautiful cards from my 2018 Spring One-for-One Card Swap. Over the past month, I’ve been running to my mail box to collect the GORGEOUS cards for my swap. In a series of several posts over the next week, I will share each of these beautiful cards with everyone. There’s so much wonderful inspiration to share!

I love these swaps because they showcase beautiful projects from card makers at ALL SKILL LEVELS – some are brand new to the craft, and others have been creating for years. Please look them over, admire their beauty and then let the creators know how beautiful their cards are (I already know you’ll be kind with your comments, but I am going to request it, anyway).

If you participated in the swap and don’t see the card you received here, please wait to comment about that card when it shows up on my blog – that way, the creator of that card will be sure to see your comments.

If you missed the previous 2018 Spring One-for-One Swap posts, you can see those projects here:

The collection of cards I’m sharing today might not all have current Stampin’ Up! products, but every card gives great ideas for color combinations, layouts, techniques – every project is sure to inspire you.  Without any further ado, here is the first batch of your beautiful cards:

Hi Sonny, glad you liked my card. I have the “recipe” for it if you decide you need the measurements etc. The pink was a bit out of my comfort zone but I need to try it now and then.

  9. I was the lucky recipient of Millie’s beautiful card! The gold and white DSP and ribbon that she chose are so elegant and the soft colors of the butterfly are lovely. Her use of velllum and Wink of Stella on the butterfly were the perfect finishing touch! I have been seeing other cards on Pinteresr with this unique butterfly closure and have been wanting to create one so I was delighted to receive this — thanks so much, Millie, for sharing your creativity!

  10. This is a wonderful parade of spring cards, and I am so excited to be the lucky recipient of Chris R’s triple, stacked, panel card. It is so gorgeous! The coloring she did with her blender pins is so beautiful, that at first I thought it was a DSP I had missed in the catalog. This card is a blue ribbon winner. Thanks Brian for choosing this spring time beauty to come to my door. And thank you Chris for such a thoughtful creation.

YVW, Nancy. I tend to make simple cards, and figured that if you wanted to embellish it more with bling, frame and add’l inserts, you could, and then the finished product will be OUR card. ?

  20. I love the card that I received from Lyndie Billey. It just sparkles and the colors are so “refreshing!”

Chris – I love your panels set with different angles. Seen plenty of them all lined up (mine included) but this is a great new twist on the panel card. Awesome!

  23. Florence Pangelinan

I absolutely love the card that I got from Debbie Lindauer (WI)! The idea of inserting a scene inside the butterfly cutout is cool—I’ve got to try that technique out with future cards I make.
The inside sentiment, accompanied by another landscape coloring, is perfect for giving, since I have several friends who could use the spiritual lift.
TYVM, Brian, for selecting the perfect card for me, and TY, Debbie, for the painstaking and lovely card.

    • I am glad you liked the card! Thanks Brian for organizing this card swap. I am in awe of all the beautiful cards. They have given me more ideas This was so much fun. I will definitely participate again.
