DAY FIVE: 2018 Spring One-for-One Card Swap

12 Gorgeous Spring Cards, 2018 Spring One-for-One Card Swap Day FiveAll good things must come to an end. I can tell from your comments and enthusiasm for the first four days for my Spring One-for-One Swap posts that you love the inspiration from these fun and beautiful cards. Today, sadly, is the last day of the swap – the conclusion of all the cards I received during this wonderful exchange of ideas.

Over the past month, I’ve been running to my mail box to collect the GORGEOUS cards for my swap. In a series of several posts over the past week, I have shared each of these beautiful cards with everyone. I love these swaps because they showcase beautiful projects from card makers at ALL SKILL LEVELS – some are brand new to the craft, and others have been creating for years. Please look them over, admire their beauty and then let the creators know how beautiful their cards are (I already know you’ll be kind with your comments, but I am going to request it, anyway).

The collection of cards I’m sharing today might not all have current Stampin’ Up! products, but every card gives great ideas for color combinations, layouts, techniques – every project is sure to inspire you.  Without any further ado, here is the first batch of your beautiful cards:

  15. Chris R. from Iowa

I was the lucky recipient of Renee Nokes’ bicycle card! Not only is it a bright and happy card – it is a fun fold that is definitely fun! She also took the time to insert the flowers into the baskets including one on the inside! There is lots of sparkle on the flower centers as well as the bike wheels. I am in love with the chevron DSP as well and there is a fun strip of it inside under the basket of flowers. So many fun layers too! Thanks for making my day Renee and Brian!

The rest of the line up today is just so pretty and spring like. I agree that maybe this is the best swap! I received so many great ideas on what to do with some of my stamps and some new color combinations. Thank you all!

  16. I received Pat Crocker’s card and love the pandas. Very cute. Thank you so much. All the cards in this swap are beautiful. Brian, thank you for organizing it.

  17. Sue Johnson’s card arrived in my mailbox! It’s hard to see from the picture, but the DSP that she used also has gold accents that coordinate beautifully with the twine and gem. I love combining patterns too, and Sue’s card is a perfect example of how to do so. The lovely amazing you sentiment is one of my all-time favorites 🙂

  18. Day 5 of more beautiful cards! I am the lucky recipient of Windy Ellard’s bright rainbow card which is even more spectacular in real time! Windy added texture with lots of layers and embellishments and there’s even blue sponging on the highest cloud. I love the beautiful colors of the rainbow – makes me hungry for some Skittles! Thanks again, Brian, for having this fun swap.

  19. Totally adorable, all leaning toward casing! Special acknowledgment to Renee, love this color combo and balance.
