Make an Impressions with Garden Impressions

It’s no secret that I love Designer Series Papers – there’s no easier way to build a foundation for a beautiful card than with a gorgeous patterned paper with an appealing color palette.  For today’s project, I pulled inspiration from a page of the Garden Impressions 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. I gotta feeling this is going to be a popular pack of paper! Here’s my card:

Tips, Tricks and Reminders

  • Garden Impressions. The Garden Impressions 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper Stack is filled with gorgeous, abstract images of flower and beautiful patterns. The colors in this stack are vibrant and uplifting with touches of oranges, yellows, pinks, blues and greens. Cards can be so simple when something this beautiful supports the focal point. Here’s a look at the gorgeous colors and patterns in this stack of papers:Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper, Stampin' Up! 146289
  • Delightfully Detailed. The focal point of this card is the sweet sentiment from Detailed with Love and the stitched shapes (the sentiment is cropped with one of the Stitched Labels Framelits Dies and accented with a circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies). Here’s a closer look at the sweet sentiment: Detailed with Love, Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper, Stampin' Up!, Brian KingI’ve included links to these new products at the base of my post. I hope you’ll take a look before hopping to the next blog (or come back after you’ve finished the hop).
  • Color Combination. Designer Series Papers are often the starting point for a great color combination. I LOVE the combination of Night of Navy, Mango Medley and So Saffron in this pattern. While the leaves and stems are not identified as Gray Granite, they are a close match – and I wanted to give Gray Granite a whirl. If you like this combination of So Saffron, Gray Granite and Night of Navy as much as I do, please save this:Stampin' Up! Color Inspiration: So Saffron, Gray Granite, Night of Navy
