You Rock with Lined Alphabet

Bold letters and a simple layout. Does it get any better than that? I created a fun card with the Lined Alphabet stamp set, and I’m excited to share it with you today. Here’s my card:

Lined Alphabet, Stampin' Up!, Brian King, congratulations card

Tips, Tricks and Reminders

  • Lined Alphabet. If you’ve studied Stampin’ Up!’s 2018 Annual Catalog (and I know you have), then you probably stopped in your tracks on page 174 when you saw the Lined Alphabet Bundle for $143.00. While I admit that’s a chunk of change, the bundle is quite amazing – you can reduce that price with host rewards or use a half-off items on a really big order. I used the Lined Alphabet stamp set to write “you rock” on this congratulatory card. Here’ a look at the bundle, which combines the Lined Alphabet stamp set with the Layering Alphabet Edgelits Dies: Lined Alphabet Bundle, Stampin' Up!, 148390The stamp set, alone, is only $34. Before you determine you only need the stamp set, take a look at this amazing video from Stampin’ Up!:Lined Alphabet Bundle, Stampin' Up!
  • Stampin’ Blends.  I colored the stamped letters with my Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Blends, alternating between the light and dark pens. I love that the letters pair so well with the watercolored stripes in the background panel of paper from the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. I’m so excited that Stampin’ Blends are back – click here to order them today:Stampin' Blends are Back - Order TodayAND – there are new colors coming! All of the markers with a “N” star beside them in the catalog (page 205) will be available to order mid-June. Be on the lookout. Back to the card – I colored the scalloped strip down the left side of the band with a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker before gluing it down. So many ways to color these elements!
  • Lined Alphabet Tags. Who doesn’t love seeing their name in a personalized project? For my local stamp club last week, I made fun bookmarks for my amazing customers with the Lined Alphabet stamp set. I started with a 2″ strip of cardstock that I punched with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch. I stamped each of their names, allowing the letters to overlap:Personalized Lined Alphabet Bookmarks, Stampin' Up!, Brian King

Bundles: Lined Alphabet Bundle  Stamp Sets: Lined Alphabet  Papers: Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper, Rich Razzleberry, Basic Black, Thick Whisper White  Inks: Tuxedo Black Memento, Stampin’ Blends (Rich Razzleberry Combo)  Accessories: Scalloped Tag Topper punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals

The options are endless with sentiment stamps – this one is the right size and a fun, open font. I love it! You’ll definitely see more projects with the Lined Alphabet stamp set from me!

  5. I stopped in my tracks when I opened your blog, the colors are beautiful together! This is the first time I saw the letters used this way, very cool! The bookmarks must have been a big hit.

    • These letters are super-fun! They are much easier to use if you intentionally keep them unbalanced. 🙂 So glad you like it. Thanks, Katrina!

  6. I love monochromatic cards and that tiny bit of black backing each layer is such an eye catcher. What a fantastic job you did with this one Brian and that bundle is just amazing. Plenty of engineering involved to get that set perfect. The SU video makes everything look so easy. I’m sure the investment in this bundle will be worth every cent.

    • Thanks for your comments, Grace! It’s a fun bundle (a fundle, if you will), but I’m afraid the cost will keep people away. Like you said, though, it’s a fun one to have. <3

  7. You make it look tempting!

  8. And I want to say YOU ROCK ?
I love this card my friend ♥️
    Hugs Frenchie
