At Home with You for GDP146

I mostly make cards that pull images and sentiments from one or two stamp sets. Today’s card features FOUR stamp sets, two sets of dies and an embossing folder. That’s a lot, but I think it all comes together beautifully. Here’s my sweet card for this week’s Global Design Project sketch challenge:

At Home with You, Beautiful You, Beautiful Bouquet, Sunshine Sayings, Stampin' Up!, Brian King, GDP146

And here’s this week’s Global Design Project sketch that inspired my card (the challenge goes live at 7am EST):

Tips, Tricks and Reminders

  • At Home With You & At Home Framelits Dies. The sweet, Spring wreaths that grace the front of my card are from the At Home with You stamp set and are cropped with the At Home Framelits. These sweet, little wreaths are designed to grace the front of a door, but they look wonderful on their own. I colored each wreath with Stampin’ Blends and popped them up with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Such fun! Here’s a look at the At Home with You photopolymer stamp set: At Home with You, Stampin' Up! 143681And here’s a look at the coordinating Framelits: At Home Framelits Dies, Stampin' Up! 143727While these were offered together as a bundle in last year’s catalog, the bundled pricing has gone away – but both items are still available! Here’s a video from Stampin’ Up! (that still uses the “bundle” terminology since it was made when the items were still offered as a bundle):
  • Build-a-Bow. The fun sketch for this week’s challenge has a band with a sweet bow in it – there’s almost always a bow on the GDP sketches, and I almost always ignore the bow. Today, I really wanted to make it shine. I stamped the beautiful bow from Beautiful Bouquet with Lovely Lipstick and cropped it with the coordinating Bouquet Bunch Framelits Dies. At Home with You, Beautiful You, Beautiful Bouquet, Sunshine Sayings, Stampin' Up!, Brian King, GDP146The bow was easy! I had to really get creative for the strand across the focal panel. I stamped the strand with the flower stem image from Sunshine Sayings with Lovely Lipstick and snipped it with my paper snips. Gave me exactly what I wanted. Do you love it!?Sunshine Sayings, Stampin' Up! 141594
  • Beautiful Colors. I stamped each wreath with Tuxedo Black Memento ink on Thick Whisper White and then colored the flowers and leaves with a mix of the Light Call Me Clover Stampin’ Blend marker and the Lovely Lipstick Combo Stampin’ Blends. The Light Call Me Clover was light and sweet enough to pair with this panel of Soft Sea Foam. Here are the new Stampin’ Blends that were recently released – you need all of them: New Stampin' Blends ColorsIf you love this color combination of , please save this:Stampin' Up!
