A Surprise with Best Bunny

Today’s sweet-and-simple project showcases a bundle in Stampin’ Up!’s 2018 Annual Catalog that you might have overlooked but that deserves a second peek. The Best Bunny bundle is not only fun to say (i dare you to say it six times fast), but the images are cute and great for many occasions. Here’s the Narrow Note Card I made with this new bundle:

Tips, Tricks and Reminders

  • Best Bunny Bundle. How cute is that sweet bunny? It doesn’t take much work to make this bunny adorable. I stamped his head and body with black ink on Sahara Sand and punched it out with the coordinating Bunny Builder Punch. I even tried his little paws – how cute – but I didn’t think it was necessary here (he seemed to be “peering” vs. “popping”). • Surprise! What better phrase to accompany a bunny popping out of a hat than “surprise!”? As I was creating my project, I ran my finger over every single stamp set I own, looking for the word “surprise.” I was just about to use the beautifully-scripted greeting from At Home with You when I was shocked by a big surprise! “Surprise” is already included in the stamp set I was working with. Yay! You’ve gotta love a fun surprise, right? Another fun surprise – the 2-1/4″ Circle Punch gives you a perfect liner for the inside of your coordinating envelope. Let’s hear it for perfect coordination!Best Bunny, Stampin' Up!, Brian King
  • Color Combination. The starting point for this simple card was the Sahara Sand bunny. Sahara Sand gave me the perfect mix of gray and brown for this sweet bunny – and he looks great popping out of a Basic Gray hat, don’t you think? Add the Real Red band around the hat (red is very magical), and you’re all set with a fun color combination.
