Never Too Old with the Broadway Birthday Bundle

Last week I shared one of the projects I designed for Louise Sharp’s stamping event in Kiama, Australia. Today I am sharing another. If you missed the first project (which I shared in two part), you can see that here:

Today project is a sweet Silver Mini Gable Box, decorated with a fun frame, pearls and party hats. Does it get any more fun than that?! Here’s my project:

  • Broadway Birthday. Let’s just face fact – you need the Broadway Birthday Bundle that is the foundation of all three of the projects I made for Louise’s event. I think it’s such a fun bundle (I call it a fundle) that can be used all year long. Here’s a closer look at the images and sentiments in the Broadway Birthday Bundle: Broadway Birthday Bundle, Stampin' Up!, 148321Not only does the set and coordinating dies work perfectly for birthdays, but it’s also great for other celebrations. This card is decidedly birthday-themed and showcases the fun and excitement of this set.
  • Pearls and Party Hats. Not only does that project feature the Broadway Birthday Bundle and a Silver Mini Gable Box, but it contains 18 silver pearls and 2 party hats. Here’s a look at the Metallic Pearls: Metallic Pearls, Stampin' Up! 146282The tiny pearls are from the Metallic Pearls, a pack of 242 (121 of gold and 121 of silver) pearls – and they are the PERFECT size to fit in the die-cut holes of the frame. The two party hats that grace the top corner of the frame serve three functions: (1) add color, (2) cover one hole so you don’t have to use 19 pearls and (3) do you ever need an excuse to add party hats?Broadway Birthday Bundle, Silver Gable Box, Stampin' Up!, Brian King
  • Sweet Colors. For fun party colors, you only have to look to the 2018-2020 In Colors. Both Lovely Lipstick and Grapefruit Grove look great with silver and with each other. Who wouldn’t love this combination for their birthday celebration? If you like this combination of Silver Foil, Grapefruit Grove and Lovely Lipstick, please save this:Stampin' Up! 1. There’s something about that marquee sign with the metallic pearls that WOWs me every time. Adorable gable box and Grapefruit Grove/Lovely Lipstick are a rocking combination!

    • Thanks, Mary! Louise had used the gold pearls in one of her projects for her group – asked me to find a way to use the silver ones. This was an easy call. <3

  2. This is adorable! Seeet gift box!

  3. What a terrific project. This would be great for a class/workshop

    • Thanks, Rachael! I designed it for Louise Sharp’s event in Australia – they had fun with it. <3 These treat boxes are wonderful and pack an adorable punch.

  4. Love this cute treat box, Brian. Love the sentiment and little party hats! Enjoy your day!

  5. What a cute box! I’m also in love with the “fundle”. I’m featuring this set in a 12×12 birthday scrapbook layout class later this month. Reply via email and I will send you a picture of my project!

  6. Putting the pearls upon top of sequins add even more oomph I found. Really highlights the marquee even more. But, I love your project and I bet they loved recreating it!
