More Color Combinations from Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper

I love to collect and use Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series Papers. What a great way to find inspiration for our projects! The colors and patterns pair perfectly with other products we love. Over the past several months, I have shared cards that showcase the patterns and colors in Stampin’ Up!’s Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper, and I’m excited to share a bit more about the papers today.

I often pull my colors right from the Designer Series Papers as a starter. That’s a huge benefit of our Designer Series Papers – they are designed with the amazing shades in our color families, so the pair perfectly with our cardstock, inks and accessories. Here’s a look at the patterns and colors in Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper:

Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper, Stampin' Up!, 146338The mix of colors and leafy images are perfect for Fall- or Autumn-themed projects, but they are also great throughout the year. This pack of papers includes Blackberry Bliss, Cajun Craze, Grapefruit Grove, Mint Macaron, Petal Pink, Rich Razzleberry, Soft Suede, Tranquil Tide and Whisper White. Such a gorgeous collection!

Here are some cards I’ve made with the pages from Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper (you can click on the photo to read the original post about each project):

There are so many ways to use these versatile papers, don’t you think? Missing you cards, thank you cards, birthday cards or thinking of you cards. Today I’m going to share a couple more suggestions for pulling these colors right from the patterns in the Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper.

Straight from the Papers

These colors are combined from the colors exclusively in this pack of Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper:

Stampin' Up! Color Inspiration: Grapefruit Grove, Rich Razzleberry, Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Up! Color Inspiration: Mint Macaron, Tranquil Tide, Soft Suede Stampin' Up! Color Inspiration: Petal Pink, Grapefruit Grove, Cajun Craze

Combined with Other Colors

By adding one other color to the shades in these patterns, you can really transform the feel of the Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper.  Here are some color combinations starters that feature two colors from this pack of papers and one color from outside the pack:

Stampin' Up! Color Inspiration: So Saffron, Grapefruit Grove, Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Up! Color Inspiration: Cajun Craze, Soft Suede, Mossy Meadow Stampin' Up! Color Inspiration: Lovely Lipstick, Tranquil Tide, Blackberry Bliss

By limiting the colors you’ll use in a project (or expanding the colors to those outside a pack of papers), you can really find some beautiful color combinations for our projects.

Color Your Season

  1. You really are a master of color combinations – there’s always something fresh, beautiful and unexpected!

  2. I love a parade and when there are 2 parades together – all the better! Thanks for all your color help Brian!

  3. Pretty colors ! I love how all the SU colors mix and blend and you have put two pretty cards together with prettiness ! AND who doesn`t love an elephant coming to their door looking for treats ??? Especially wearing a mask so you can`t identify him !!!

  4. Ah, you and your colors! You totally amaze me with your sense of color. Once again you come to the rescue – the first card will make a wonderful sympathy card for my physical therapist. His mom died the other day. It is sort of masculine looking and would be perfect with a change of sentiments.

  5. I never tire of seeing your beautiful cards and saving the color combos. I figure if you use them, then that is good enough for me. LOL! Have a great day!

  6. Yes, super helpful, thank you! I just ordered Nature’s Poem DSP, I love it so much it’s hard to cut up!!! The color combos are beautiful. sigh
