I always love the launch of a new catalog – what’s not to love?! Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Occasions Catalog is incredible! There are so many great new products showcased in this new book! Stampin’ Up!’ Demonstrators have enjoyed the opportunity to play with these new items since November and December, and we’ve enjoyed sharing our new projects with you. Now we get to share these products with you – for real. What fun! Hopefully this list of my favorite things will help you to shuffle or whittle down your list – or it might inspire you to add some items you overlooked. 🙂 Either way, I’m happy to share my favorites from the book with you.

In an effort to narrow down my list a bit, I’ve lumped my favorites into categories.  Some are themes, some are product lines and some are accessories.  Regardless, these are some of my favorite things in Stampin’ Up!’s 2018 Occasions Catalog.

Gingham Gala Suite

Gingham Gala is the breath of fresh, Spring air you’ve been looking for. That’s why it’s my favorite suite in Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Occasions Catalog. What’s NOT to love about bright colors, colorful butterflies and coordinating accents!? The suite perfectly styled and filled with Spring beauties! You can click on this picture to see all of the items in this suite:

Gingham Gala Suite, Stampin' Up! 2019 Occasions Catalog, 11026Every single product in this suite deserves your attention – please take a moment to review every inch of pages 34 – 37. The Butterfly Gala Bundle showcases a collection of gorgeous butterflies with an amazing punch – and don’t get me started about how wonderful the coordinating sentiments are in this stamp set. Here’s a look at this bundle:

The 2019 Occasions Catalog is filled to the brim with great products that embrace a fun trend in crafting – stitches. I’m sharing three of them here today.

Stitched Dies

There are so many great dies in Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Occasions Catalog – and each set of dies is perfectly coordinated with a great stamp set. There are two sets of dies that are on my MUST-HAVE list, and I’m already using them lots. Both sets of dies feature stitched elements that make them perfect for either classic or modern projects.

You simply can’t live without the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies:

Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies, Stampin' Up!, 148551The Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies are paired with the Amazing Life stamp set for a wonderful Bundle – check out the set, too. The Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies includes a grand collection of hearts that are perfect for (and well beyond) Valentine’s Day. Hearts are great for any show of love – including anniversaries, weddings, sympathy, babies and thank yous. Here’s a look at these dies:Be MIne Stitched Framelits Dies, Stampin' Up!, 148527The Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies are paired with the Meant to Be stamp set for a must-have bundle. I hope you’ll check it out! Last week I shared a simple, layered card that combines my love of both of these sets – you can click on this card to see the original post:

Piece of Cake

With the release of each catalog, we see a lot of cakes, cupcakes, and sweet treats. I love the variety of cakes and fun sentiment in the Piece of Cake Bundle – and I adore the coordinating punch. Here’s a look at this incredibly fun bundle:

While you are creating fun projects with the Piece of Cake Bundle, you’ll want to have the Itty Bitty Birthday stamp set on hand. It’s hidden at the bottom of page 16 in the Occasions Catalog, but it’s filled with great sentiments for a variety of occasions. Here’s a look at this stamp set:

Happiness Blooms

You know how much I love Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series Papers, right?  The designs inspire me by offering great patterns and outrageously gorgeous color combinations.  Nothing says “happiness” quite like the colors and images in the Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper, part of the Happiness Blooms Suite. Here’s a look at this gorgeous, happy paper:

Happiness Blooms Closer Looks, Brian KingBonus!  With so many products, the stamp set is the “sales lead,” and the paper is the add-on. It was Happiness Blooms Designer Series Paper, though, that forced me to pay attention to the Bloom by Bloom stamp set and the coordinating accessories in this suite. The Happiness Blooms Memories & More Card Pack and Happiness Blooms Memories & More Cards & Envelopes offer some more great patterns and colors that really add to this collection of papers.

Well Said Bundle

I love a good sentiment set – there’s something special about having the right combination of words to say EXACTLY what you want to say. The Well Said Bundle features the Well Said Cling Stamp Set (with 51 stamps) and the Well Written Framelits Dies (with 24 dies) that can be arranged in endless combinations – “endless” might be an exaggeration, but who has the time to count all the combinations?! Here’s a look at this incredible bundle:

Well Said Bundle, Stampin' Up! 150609Even with a 10% discount for both the Well Said stamp set and coordinating Well Written Framelits Dies, the bundle retails for $76.50 in the United States. That might feel steep (because bundles are usually that costly), BUT look at all the incredible stamps and dies in this bundle. You can use this set for almost every occasion you can think of. You need it – I promise.

Here are three of the Well Said Samples in Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Occasions Catalog:

That’s a lot of great stuff! But the fun doesn’t stop there! On Tuesday I’m going to share my favorites from Stampin’ Up!’s Sale-a-Bration Brochure. A bunch of goodies in there!

What do you think of my list?  What are your favorite things from this catalog?  I’ve loved working with these new products and can’t wait for your orders to arrive so you can start playing with them, too!

I hope I’ve confirmed your wish list – please come back to see what else you can’t live without.

Thanks for stopping by today!

  1. Fabulous list of favorites Brian, lots to choose from.
I might give in a little and get the “Be Mine” die set, it’s beautiful and versatile and, well…..I don’t have any heart dies!!
Thank you for sharing your list of favorites.

  2. Great choices! We have a lot of the same favorites!

  3. The Gingham Gala is MY favorite suite also Brian. How about that – me and my special, favorite demonstrator EVAH have the same favorite. Be still my heart. All kidding aside Brian, the reason I love SU to much is that everything coordinates in a suite. That makes it so much easier to have everything coordinate perfectly. Thank you SU, thank you Brian. And a second thank you to you Brian for putting those bundles together.

  4. I agree with you and Grace about Gingham Gala being one of my favorites. Can’t wait to get the paper and get the bundle. It’s always fun to see what other choose as their favorites. There are many good choices in this catalog. Thanks for putting these together for us to see what your favorites are. Have a good weekend!

  5. Love your list. You have convinced me on the Piece of Cake bundle with your sweet samples.
