Dear Tranquil Tide,
Thank you for all the great memories you’ve shared with me over the past two years. I’ve watching you bounce between playful and sophisticated – you are SO versatile! When we were first introduced to you in 2017, I knew I’d love you, but (silly me) it took me about a year to warm up to you. Once I did, though, I couldn’t put you down. I’m going to miss you while you are gone, but I am going to continue to cross my fingers that you will (one day) make your way back into my life. Stampin’ Up! refreshes the color families every several years – I’m going to hold out hope.
All the best to you!
BrianTranquil Tide. This rich mix of blue and green has been a part of our lives for two year, but it’s time to say goodbye. If you aren’t ready to let go, this is a great time to stock up on some of your favorite Tranquil Tide products – papers, inks, ribbons, etc. Once these items are gone, they are gone – so don’t wait.

A beautiful ode to a beautiful color. Your parade of cards shows just how versatile Tranquil Tide is. Thanks for the excellent and witty compilation of opportunities!
STUNNING color combinations with Tranquil Tide.
Brian- you are too funny with your ode to TT.
I, too, loved TT, but I’ll really miss Lemon Lime Twist. I’m looking forward to the new colors- something fresh & new. Thanks for always including those color swatches – a great visual for inspiration!
Oh, Marilyn! There will definitely be an ode to Lemon Lime Twist – I think that’s become one of my all-time favorites. ♥
Brilliant post. I adore the good bye letter and series of beautiful cards using Tranquil Tide.
Love it all my friend, BEAUITFUL cards from our king ♥️
Tfs hugs Frenchie ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Beautiful tribute to one of my favorite colors. I see a couple cards I need to CASE or reCASE to use up some pieces of DSP. I adore the card for you mom and I think it would be an excellent birthday card too since you used one of my very favorite stamp sets.
Although Tranquil Tide is retiring, I’m keeping it around for those “special” occasions. I compared it to the new in-color Pretty Peacock, which is a little more blue than TT. Both are pretty and it will be interesting to see if SU brings TT back. Have a great day!
I may have a pack or two of cardstock stored away just in case. 🙂
Just found your site. Enjoying what I’m seeing.
Thanks so much, Jesse! I share new content every day – hope you’ll come back. ♥
I love Tranquil Tide as well! Even the name is a favorite of mine. Thank you for showcasing all the related products, Brian. ?
So happy to share, Suzie! Glad you like the tribute – there will be more to come. 🙂
Tide will be missed…I am using lots in my next card class-to use up most of my stash. Great color combos..thanks!
