It’s Sure to be a Fun Day!

We are experiencing a little downtime while Stampin’ Up! transitions its ordering systems from the 2018 Annual Catalog to the 2019 Annual Catalog. Since I can’t yet show you the new catalog (I can post it here once it’s live at Stampin’ Up!), I thought I’d share a quick 3″ x 3″ card I made to celebrate the excitement of today. The site will be back up this afternoon (at 2:00pm EST) and will be ready to accept orders from Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Annual Catalog. At the same time, I’ll be back to share a little bit about the new catalog. What fun!

While we are white-knuckling it through this “off-air” time, here’s a fun, simple card I made to celebrate the excitement of the day:Itty Bity Birthdays, Stampin' Up!, Brian King

Tips, Tricks and Reminders

  • Itty Bitty Birthdays. My card features a collage of sentiments from Itty Bitty Birthdays, a stamp set carrying over from Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Occasions Catalog to Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Annual Catalog. While the stamp set is decidedly birthday-themed, some of the sayings are versatile to be used for other occasions. Here’s a look at Itty Bitty Birthdays:Itty Bitty Birthdays, Stampin' Up! 148618Here are the sentiments I used on this card:
    • IT’S SURE TO BE A FUN DAY
    • TIME TO CELEBRATE
    • IT’S YOUR DAY!
    • SO EXCITING!
    • LET’S CELEBRATE YOU
    • HAPPY DAY
  • Bright, Cheery Color Combination. It all started with a Bermuda Bay base and six sentiments stamped in Bermuda Bay in the background of a Whisper White square. When looking for bright, cheery colors to complement Bermuda Bay, I only have to look for other shades in the Brights Color Family. If you like this combination of Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green and Melon Mambo, please save this:Stampin' Up! Color Inspiration - Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green, Melon Mambo
  • What’s So Exciting, Brian? Why am I so excited? I get to place my first big order from Stampin’ Up!’s brand new 2019 Annual Catalog at 2:00pm EST today. Itty Bity Birthdays, Stampin' UP!, Brian KingYes, I have some new products from OnStage and from Demonstrator Pre-orders (we were able to purchase select items in May), but there are lots of new products that I haven’t yet been able to order. What fun! I plan to ORDER EARLY because I know the shipping backlog will get bigger as the day goes on AND I don’t want products to go on an unexpected backorder before I get my order in. Yay! What a fun day!

Stamp Sets: Itty Bitty Birthdays Papers: Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green, Melon Mambo, Whisper White Inks: Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo Accessories: 1-1/2″ Circle Punch, Layering Circles Dies, Whisper White 3″ x 3″ Envelopes, Stampin’ Dimensionals

I hope you’ll come back this afternoon to check out the new catalog and to place your order. 🙂

  1. Such a great color combo Brian…very “summery!”

  2. Very smart with multiple stamps, is there a tip to lining them up or is your eyeball spot on? ?

    • Thanks, Katrina! I still use my Stamp-a-ma-jig all the time, but this card was all me. I stamped off on scrap paper with each one to make sure I had it lined up how I wanted and then went with it. 🙂 Thanks!

  3. This color combo is great! I may have to go to my blue (craft) room now to try it out! The multiple sentiments make for a cheery background.

  4. Such a great card. Love how you really maximized that stamp set!
