It’s not often that I dabble in vintage images and patterns, but I couldn’t help myself but to play around with the Woven Threads Designer Series Paper. It’s gorgeous! And what better way to showcase the rustic patterns in this paper than to pair it with beautiful vases? Here’s my card for this week’s Global Design Project sketch challenge:

Tips, Tricks and Reminders
- Woven Heirlooms & Woven Threads. The “thank you” on this card is from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set – the understated sentiment is simple and shouldn’t be the reason you get this stamp set – the gorgeous, scripted words are the reason. Here’s a look at the Woven Heirlooms stamp set:
The stamp set is designed to coordinate with the Woven Threads Designer Series Paper that’s also featured on this card. The Woven Threads Designer Series Paper includes all five of the new, 2019-2021 In Colors. Here’s a look at the gorgeous patterns and colors in this pack of papers:
Both of these products are part of the Woven Threads Suite – you can click on the photo below to see all of the suite’s products in my online store: 
- Rustic Vases and a Lacy Border. The rustic vases and lacy border on my card aren’t part of the Woven Threads Suite, but they really fit in well, don’t you think? The vases were cropped from a single pattern of paper in the Woven Threads Designer Series Paper. Here’s a closer look at the vases and the simple sentiment (stamped on Seaside Spray and cropped with the Classic Label punch):
I’ve also managed to include the Arts & Crafts Dies (part of the It Starts with Art Bundle). Did you notice that incredible element on my card? Here’s a look at the It Starts with Art Bundle: 
And here’s another look at the front of my card – the Seaside Spray lacy border is cropped with this set of dies. It has a stitched, flat edge and a stitched, scalloped edge. Love it! Here’s a look:
- Color Inspiration. The Woven Threads Designer Series inspired the colors I used on this card. The pattern I used on the vases includes a mix of Sahara Sand, Rococo Rose, Terracotta Tile and Seaside Spray. I chose two other patterns with similar color schemes to build the rest of the card. I really love this look. The big vase on my left looks so realistic. I can just imagine running my fingers over the ridges on the pottery. That lacy border is just the added touch of whimsy adding more texture to this lovely rustic look. Love it!!!
