Good Things: Six New Products on One Card

The Fab Friday sketch challenge that kicks off today gave me the chance to combine SIX new products from Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Annual Catalog – three new dies, two new papers and one new stamp set. Can you name all of the new products? I know you can. Here’s my card:

Tasteful Textures, Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper, Stampin' Up!, Brian KingAnd here’s the banner for the challenge that inspired my card:

FabFri167I don’t like to keep you waiting – even though I’m certain you dug in and named all of the new products (you are always so good about that), here are the new products I combined on this card:

  • Arts & Crafts Dies
  • Sweet Silhouettes Dies
  • Stitched Nested Labels Dies
  • Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper
  • Perennial Essence 12″ x 12″ Vellum Cardstock
  • Tasteful Textures Stamp Set

Tips, Tricks and Reminders

  • Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper. There are so many great elements on this card – the lacy border, the beautiful tree, that amazing sentiment. Still, it’s the gorgeous panel of Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper that sets the tone for this card. I love the Pink Petal backdrop with the pale blue flowers – so soft and sweet. This pack of papers needs to come live with you – you will love it. Would I lie to you about something as serious as paper?!
  • Three Bundles. While the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper set the tone for this card, three new bundles come together to make this card special. The sentiment is from the tasteful Textures Bundle – “Good things are sure to happen” is such a great saying. Here’s a look at the Tasteful Textures Bundle:Tasteful Textures Bundle, Stampin' Up! 151081The lacy trim along the side of the top border is one of three great trims in the Arts & Crafts Dies, part of the It Starts with Art Bundle. Here’s a look:It Starts with Art Bundle, Stampin' Up!, 151090That tree. I love it! I cropped the tree from the Sweet Silhouettes Dies, trimmed some of the branches near the bottom of the tree and the glued them down. • Sweet Color Combination. I love how soft colors pair with browns like Crumb Cake and Soft Suede. Two soft colors with brown are just amazing! All three of the principal colors on my card are pulled right from the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper, so…bonus!
