Royal CASEs of the 2019 Annual Catalog

I periodically host challenges with my amazing InKing Royalty team of demonstrators in our private Facebook group to encourage them to create and share projects they make. The projects inspire the other members of the team, creating a big circle of inspirational shares, kind comments and community with one another.

While I was away on the Greek Isles Incentive Trip, Ann Murray (one of my InKing Royalty team members) organized ten days of challenges with an inspiration for each day. Participants shared projects they made with the daily themes like #RoyalWords (projects that center around a sentiment), #RoyalAnimals (projects with…you guessed it…animals) and a super-fun day of #RoyalWelcomeHome (projects that welcomed me back after my trip). What a wonderful collection of projects in our gallery when I arrived home!

Today I’m sharing projects from the #RoyalCASEtheCatalog challenge where team members recreated projects from Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Annual Catalog, often putting their own touches on their own projects. When we CASE (Copy and Share Everything or Copy and Selectively Edit), we find inspiration in a project – theme, color combinations, layout, products used – and create our own project by making changes to make it our own.  When CASEing, it’s important to give credit to the original designer – it doesn’t take away from your project at all.

Here are some of the projects my team members shared:

Bonnie Bake – Good Morning Magnolia

by Bonnie Bake, Good Morning Magnolia, Stampin' Up!, CASE the 2019 Annual CatalogBonnie CASE’d the card that’s at the center of page 36 in the 2019 Annual Catalog. There are so many great ways to showcase this beautiful suite of products. This is such a sweet project that really lets someone know how much you are thinking of them.

Pam Simmons – Good Morning Magnolia

by Pam Simmons, Good Morning Magnolia, Stampin' Up!, CASE the 2019 Annual CatalogLike Bonnie, Pam CASE’d a project from the 2019 Annual Catalog that showcases the beauty of the Good Morning Magnolia Suite. The project Pam CASE’d, though, is found on the front cover of Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Annual Catalog. There are so many amazing projects on that cover!

Carole Gaines – Mosaic Mood

by Carole Gaines, Mosaic Mood, Stampin' Up!, CASE the 2019 Annual CatalogCarole CASE’d a gorgeous card on page 119 of the 2019 Annual Catalog that mostly features the Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper (the panel and hummingbird are cropped from this paper). Twine is used to build a sweet nest beneath the sentiment.

Jackie Beers – Perennial Essence

by Jackie Beers, Perennial Essence, Stampin' Up!, CASE the 2019 Annual CatalogJackie CASE’d a gorgeous project from the 2019 Annual Catalog and built her card with a completely different suite of products. The card she CASE’d is on page 41 of the Annual Catalog (which features products from the Garden Lane Suite). Jackie’s bold use of products from the Perennial Essence suite really change the look of this card.

Lee Ann Stremke – Verdant Garden

by Lee Ann Stremke, Verdant Garden, Stampin' Up!, CASE the 2019 Annual CatalogLee Ann shared two cards she made with the Garden Lane Designer Series Paper and Verdant Garden stamp set that she CASE’d from page 40 in the 2019 Annual Catalog. What a beautiful duo – although each has its very own personality.

Sue Jackson – Come Sail Away

Sue Jackson, Come Sail Away, Stampin' Up!, CASE the 2019 Annual CatalogWhen Sue created her CASE from the 2019 Annual Catalog, she recaptured the beauty of a card on page 144 with the stamps, dies, accessories and papers from the Come Sail Suite. What beautiful layering and a great showcase of so many wonderful products. Love it!

Cathy Shockley – Flourishing Phrases

by Cathy Shockley, Flourishing Phrases, Stampin' Up!, CASE the 2019 Annual CatalogWhen my InKing Royalty team passed through the catalog together in June, the sample at the top of page 35 generated a lot of buzz. That’s wonderful – especially considering this stamp set has been around for years. Cathy did a great job of recreating this card in her own image.

Tina Simons – This Little Piggy

Tina Simons, This Little Piggy, Stampin' Up!, CASE the 2019 Annual CatalogLike Cathy, Tina found a sample that brings new life to a stamp set that’s not brand new in the 2019 Annual Catalog. Tina CASE’d the card found on page 32. She added a little more bling to her card (the banner is glimmer paper), and I love the way she colored her sweet, flying pig.

Ann Murray – Come Sail Away

Since Ann organized the daily challenges, she participated in most of them – but she didn’t play along with the #RoyalCASEtheCatalog challenge. I loved her #RoyalWelcomeHome project so much that I wanted to share it with you today. Just look at the beautiful elements in this gorgeous card that features products from the Come Sail Away Suite of products:
