Sneak Peek: Harvest Hellos for CTS332

I’m excited to share a super-fun sneak peek at some products from Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Holiday Catalog. The catalog was previewed to achieving demonstrators on Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Incentive Trip earlier this month and was revealed to all Stampin’ Up! demonstrators on Tuesday. Demonstrators can begin ordering from the catalog on August 1, and the catalog is live for customers on September 4. What fun! Here’s my card:

Tips, Tricks and Reminders

  • Harvest Hellos Bundle. Harvest Hellos is a Fall-themed stamp set in Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Holiday Catalog. The set includes images and sentiments that can be used for great Fall occasions like back-to-school, harvest, Rosh Hashanah, Halloween and Thanksgiving. The coordinating Apple Builder punch can be used to build an apple or a pumpkin. I love the versatility of this bundle. Here’s a look:Harvest Hellos Bundle, Stampin' Up!The punch was used to cut out the whole apple AND the apple slice (I then cut along the straight edge of the apple). Once I incorporated the cut apple slice, I couldn’t help but to pair it with this sentiment from Crafting Forever (which I used earlier this week):Crafting Forever, Stampin' Up! 151231
  • Card Elements. Donna’s sketch for this week’s challenge features The elements on Donna’s sketch were a partial element in the top, left and a band down the side. Here’s how I addressed those elements on my card. The apple (obviously) is the element at the top, left. I hung it off the edge of the blue panel a bit so the blue panel can be considered the sketch.Harvest Hellos Bundle, Stampin' Up!, Brian KingI colored the exterior of the apple with Real Red Stampin’ Blends. I colored the inside of the apple with the lightest Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend Marker – a perfect shade to capture the fleshy inside of the apple.Real Red Combo Pack Stampin' Blends, Stampin' Up! 147935The strip down the side of the focal panel is cropped from the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper – love these stripes! 1. Great card….love the pop of red….and the perfect sentiment! You nailed the sketch!

  2. You’re the apple of my eye! Adore the shot of Balmy Blue and how you used Petal Pink for the inside of the apple!

    • Thanks, Mary! The apple needed something more than just white – was so happy that the soft Petal Pink gave me what I was looking for. Thanks!

  3. What a fun new stamp set from the holiday catalog and what a perfect sentiment to pair up with the apples. GREAT card Brian!

  4. Adorable card! Can’t wait to get that bundle!

  5. So cute and perfect for the sketch!

    • Thanks so much, Windy! I was going to just use the sliced apple piece, but I could still meet the sketch requirements with both, so… ♥

  6. Totally missed this bundle as I looked at the pdf yesterday on demo website. Seriously……this set has made my list now.

  7. This Harvest Hello bundle jumps right to the top of my “have to have” list. Love your card and the saying – well, of course it’s perfect for the set. Since fall is my favorite season of the year I am probably going to go a little nutty over the holiday catalog. Can’t wait to see it and I haven’t even ordered everything I want over the annual catalog yet. I told the hubs he is going to have to get a part time job to feed my stamping addiction. LOL Obviously he gave me “the look”. All too funny.

    • There are lots of beautiful Fall-themed items in the Holiday Catalog, but I’m with you – still lots to get from the Annual Catalog. Love the commentary, Grace!

  8. Oh my friend I love your Apple , I guess I didn’t notice it had a punch , wow , I have 4 grown grand children, and a 4 year old grand daughter, I know I’ll be needing a apple set , lol right ?
    Thanks for sharing
    Hugs Frenchie ♥️

  10. What a cute take on the sketch. I love that fun sentiment and the pop of the red from the apple is fabulous!!
