Join Me for World Card Making Day in Atlanta – November 15

Over the years, I’ve hosted events in Atlanta to engage Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from all over the United States. The days are filled with fun stamping inspiration, games, swaps and giveaways. It’s a lot of work to pull together an event like this, but it’s such a joy to share with others! These events started as a World Card Making Day celebration (the first Saturday in October) back in 2013 that included 25 team members. Attendance at these events ramped up over the years, and the activities became more exciting – such fun!

The event also transformed a bit over the years – when Stampin’ Up! changed its events schedule, I changed the event to partner with OnStage events in Atlanta. While I still call it World Card Making Day, this year’s event will actually happen a month AFTER World Card Making Day to coincide with Atlanta’s OnStage event. That makes it so much easier for demonstrators who are already traveling to Atlanta to join in the fun.

Incidentally, when OnStage was in Atlanta in the Spring of 2018, I hosted Brian’s Spring Stamp-Along:While pictures can never share the energy and excitement of the days, I want to share some pictures to give you an idea of how much fun we have had over the years.

Introductions

When you are hanging around with a new group of people, it’s always important to introduce yourself and meet the people you’ll be spending the day with.

Presentations

What fun is a Stampin’ Up! event if you don’t enjoy amazing presentations from incredible demonstrators? We share fun projects that you’ll want to run home and make. You can share these projects with your customers, team members or keep them all to yourself. Lots and lots of great ideas! Here are some great presentation photos from across the years:

Card Swap

It wouldn’t be a Stampin’ Up! event without an awesome card swap. Just look at this lineup:

Games & Giveaways

The days are also filled with fun games. I come up with fun ways to challenge tables, teams and individuals – lots of laughter ensues every time. Here are some snapshots of some of the fun games we’ve played over the years:

Make & Takes

I’m not yet sure how the event will shape up this year, but you can bet there will be lots of projects to take home with us. All of the prior events have included fun Make & Takes that coordinate with the projects shared by presenters. We’ve redesigned popular kits with new instructions, and we’ve created all new projects from scratch. Either way, fun will be had once I start planning. 🙂

The smiles tell it all. If you’ve been to one of these events, you’ll certainly want to come again!

I haven’t yet opened registration for this year’s event (to be held on November 15 at the Atlanta Marriott Gateway), but that doesn’t mean you don’t want to get on the list to find out more when I know more. Stampin’ Up! moved this year’s event to a different location with few options for hosting my event. As such, I am only able to accommodate a smaller crowd that before. I am still working through several ideas for how I can include more people without taking away from the experience for those there.
