You’re RAWRsome with Dino Days

Last Saturday, I shared some of the projects my awesome InKing Royalty team shared while I was away for Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Incentive Trip to the Greek Isles (you can see those projects here). To thank my team members who completed the challenge for playing along, I mailed out a little gift with a simple, adorable card I made for them. Here’s the note card I sent:

Tips, Tricks and Reminders

  • Dinoroar Suite. I dare you to say, “You’re RAWRsome!” without smiling. It’s such a sweet sentiment – especially when paired with one of the cute, cute, cute dinosaurs in the Dino Days stamp set. I don’t know a lot about dinosaurs, but I think this tyrannosaurus is the only one of the dinosaurs that would actually elicit a roar (I think the plant-eaters would just hum, while the flying pterodactyl would likely squawk) , so I chose to feature him on this card. Here’s a look at the Dino Days Bundle:Dino Days Bundle, Stampin' Up! 151139There are lots of great patterns in the coordinating Dinoroar Designer Series Paper. • Dino Builder. There are so many images and pieces in the Dino Days stamp set and coordinating Dino Days Dies that some elements might get lost. I was so excited to see that the this cute dinosaur has a coordinating row of plates that can be added to his back. Here’s a closer look:Dino Days Bundle, Dinoroar Designer Series Paper, Stampin' Up!, Brian KingI stamped the dinosaur with Old Olive ink and cropped him out with the Dino Dies. I stamped his tiles with Pretty Peacock ink and cropped them out (in one piece) with the Dino Dies. With just a little glue, the tiles fit right onto his back. Such layering fun!
  • Fun with Colors. The colors I used for this super-cute dinosaur were pulled right from the Dinoroar Designer Series Paper. I love this mix of blues and greens. If you like this combination of Old Olive, Pool Party and Pretty Peacock as much as I do, please save this for future inspiration:Stampin' Up!
