Brightly Gleaming with a Sweet Tag

I’ve made a quick-and-easy project using this week’s Global Design Project colors (Mossy Meadow, Merry Merlot and Pretty Peacock). If you missed my Gingham Christmas card for the rollout of this challenge, please click here. Today I’ve made a quick tag for a fun treat bag. Here’s my project:

And here’s the banner for the challenge that inspired my card:

Stampin' Up! Color Inspiration - Mossy Meadow, Merry Merlot, Pretty PeacockTips, Tricks and Reminders

  • Two from the Holiday Catalog. My simple bag-and-tag features two new products in Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Holiday Catalog. The 2″ wide band of Mossy Meadow and copper foil is from the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper that debuts in Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Holiday Catalog. What a gorgeous collection of papers! Here’s a look at the patterns and colors in the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Papers:Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper, Stampin' Up! 2019 Holiday Catalog, 150429The sentiment is from the Greatest Part of Christmas Host stamp set in the Holiday Catalog. Demonstrators aren’t yet able to order this set (the host sets are the only items not available during pre-order), but I won this in a random drawing on the Mediterranean Cruise. You know how much I love a good sentiment set – yay, me! Here’s a look at Greatest Part of Christmas: Greatest Part of Christmas Host Set, Stampin' Up! 150554
  • Three from the Annual Catalog. My project also features three fun products from the Annual Catalog. The Cooper Dotted Treat Bags helped me build on the copper foil from the Designer Series Paper. Here’s a look at the treat bags: Copper Dotted Treat Bags, Stampin' Up! 149609I added an accent on the edge of my tag with the Sprig Punch – Pretty Peacock, copper foil and Vellum Cardstock. Such an easy addition! Here’s a look at the Spring Punch:Sprig Punch, Stampin' Up! 148012I cropped Pretty Peacock cardstock with the Circle Tab Punch to create the perfect tab for the top of my treat bag. I clipped it to the bag with a (retired) copper paper clip. Here’s a look at the Circle Tab Punch: Circle Tab Punch, Stampin' Up! 143754
  • A Closer Look. I shared a lot of the products above (without mention of the Stitched Nested Label Dies and white embossing powder), but they are there. Just wanted to give you a quick peek at the focal point of this simple project before heading out. ♥ I’m thoughtful in that way.Greatest Part of Christmas, Stampin' Up!, Brian KingIf you’d like to see all of the Designer Series Paper in Stampin’ Up!’s 2019 Holiday Catalog (along with my favorite color combinations from each), you can see my post here.
