More Gift Card Holders with the Stitched Nested Labels Dies

Yesterday I shared the second project I designed and showcased for Louise Sharp’s annual Stamping by the Sea Retreat in Australia. Today I want to share some more gift card holders I’ve made with the same dies and some pictures from Louise’s incredible retreat.

Let’s start with the fun pictures. Here’s the whole lot of them:

In late July I made gift card holders (using this same concept) with my local stamp club to show off this wonderful idea and amazing dies. I didn’t show the projects here so that I wouldn’t ruin the surprise for Louise’s group. Here are the projects I made with my local group:

Stitched Nested Labels Dies, Above the Clouds Bundle, Stampin' Up!, Brian King, pocket for gift card or business cardI oriented this gift card holder horizontally – the gift card fits in the pocket all the same. I showcased the Above the Clouds Bundle, stamping the the balloon in Grapefruit Grove and cropping it with the Balloon Builder Punch. The bottom half of the pocket is a beautiful pattern from Follow Your Art Designer Series Paper. I popped up the balloon with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Quick Tip: Make sure the Dimensionals are only adhered to the bottom of the balloon and the bottom panel. Otherwise, your card won’t slip in behind the balloon. Please don’t ask how I know that. ♥

Stitched Nested Labels Dies, Free as a Bird, Stampin' Up!, Brian King, pocket for gift card or business cardI can’t help myself around this beautiful, striped paper from the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper. I cropped the paper and then cut it at an angle. With the addition of a simple strip (also at an angle), it’s perfect, don’t you think? I added a Petal Pink Frosted Flowers Embellishment for an additional element on the card holder.

Aren’t these pockets a special way to give a gift card or share your business card? I adore them – and the possibilities are ENDLESS.

Thanks for stopping by today!
